Sorry if this seems like a post to boost. It really isn't, I just want players to be safe.
Past two days, 2 scam events have happened to me. One being on discord, and much less of a threat because it was only targeted at me,

But the other was much more of a threat to the community because just 5 minutes ago, a bot logging into the survival server, messaging multiple people a link (https://bit.ly/******* ~im not sharing the actual link, that's dumb.)

The player "carrieluett123" was saying there was a free optifine cape giveaway occurring. I don't know if it's happened on any other server, but the website looks a little like this.

It's a close replica to the site, and the hyperlinks within the site are already linked to the actual optifine site to make it seem more legit. This is just a warning, and that Optifine would never need your minecraft account information. Also keep your eye on that address, it has no relation to the actual site "Optifine.net" anywhere within the link. If you ever do get in a situation like this. I'm not saying I got hacked or anything, I just want people to know. <3

That's basically against Discord ToS to be honest, as they are trying to scam and you should report that.
 
carrie was banned, im pretty sure the person msgd all as i got the msg on both my main and alt when i was online. also dog asks everyone that

Yeah I’ve had them both happen to me, the first one went on for quite a while and the second one has happened to me about 3 times on one account,

This completely reminds me. So back a few months back I got messaged by Serpent aka Dog asking to share accounts. I denied it because he had been toxic to me in the past and I didn't trust him. Good to see that I didn't fall for it
