W tap. When your trading try to not always hold w and press every second so you can win the trade and combo. Learn to block hit, bow boost and have good aim snd youd be decent atleast

all of these tips suck ass just autoclick aiming isnt hard and you'll shit on everyone make sure to download a ping spoofer and make your ping 100 to shit on everyone, if your ping is already above 100 spoof it to 200 and become australian

Strafing is REALLY IMPORTANT! Fishing rods are also really good and can help you get more hits off. But they are optional. Mostly just focus on strafing and cps.

I wrote an entire guide on another server forum. Idk if links are allowed. But probably not so imma just copy and paste

This guide is on 1.8.9 pvp

Aiming:
Most important thing ever. Aiming. Everything else is useless without aiming. Keep that crosshair on your opponent. That’s how you create and maintain combos

W-Tapping/Block Hitting/ S-Tapping:
This is the thing that separates noobs to okay players (usually. Some players don’t do these things.) These 3 methods are ways to reset your sprint.
If you hit someone while sprinting, you do 4 blocks of knockback on the first hit. After that, the second, third, fourth hits and etc only gives 2 blocks of knockback. So what these 3 methods do is constantly reseting your sprint so you keep doing 4 blocks of knockback.

To w tap, you hit your opponent sprinting, let go of the w key, then quickly hold the w button again, hit the opponent again and repeat the process. W tapping is not spamming the w key. You can do that, but your movement won’t be as good.

Block hitting is right clicking to block with your sword. You also take less damage if you block. To block hit, hit both mouse buttons. You hit the left mouse button then right immediately afterwards. It will send your opponent flying. However it isn’t as practical as it slows your movement a lot if you spam blockhitting. If you are in a small cramped area with your opponent, you should block hit so you take less damage. If someone is hitting you against a wall or something, block hit to send your opponent flying and escape. I suggest if you are a beginner to practice w tapping first.

S tapping is kinda different. In s tapping, you are basically moving in and out of your opponent’s range. You go in, hit your opponent, tap s to move back, and quickly move back in and hit and repeat. A bit harder to do for beginners. So like I said before, if you are new, practice w tapping first. Also do not use this method to start a combo. S tapping is mainly used to maintain combos. Just use the other two instead

All these methods also reduce your knockback

pros often combine these techniques

Strafes:
Basically strafes are moving around your opponent so they can’t hit you. In pvp, try moving around your opponent while hitting them. It makes it harder to hit you. You shouldn’t move only one direction however. Try make your movement more unpredictable. If you strafe, you should also do those sprint resetting methods I told you. Make sure to w tap, block hit, s tap, whatever to create a combo.

Combos:
When pvping, try to hit your opponent more than they can hit you. To combo people, keep hitting them. Keep a distance between opponent. Not too close where they can hit you, and not too far where you can’t hit them.

There are ways to combo. There is strafing combos where you move to right and/or left while hitting to combo. There is also straightlining where you move in in a straight line and you combo your opponent in a straight line. Both these combos require the sprint resetting method. Straightlining is harder. If you are new, practice strafing

Small Tips:
Trying aiming at head level. The max reach is 3 blocks. Aiming for head level gives you the most *reach*

When pvping on a hill, trying getting the low ground. It gives your opponent a bigger hitbox and gives you a bit smaller hitbox

You can try to jitter click or butterfly click. You don’t need to, but it gives you a bigger advantage in pvp. Jitter clicking is vibrating your arm so you can hit your mouse button fast. Butterfly clicking is having two fingers on one mouse button clicking alternatively. (Some server don’t allow butterfly clicking so use on your own risk.) I personally click normally. It makes aiming easier for me.

Don’t w tap, block hit, or s tap when chasing someone. Don’t reset your sprint. I did this. I’m stupid. I assume most people won’t do this. Remember, these methods gives knockback to people which isn’t something you want when chasing someone.

Make sure to practice
You are not going to become stimpy overnight. PvP, like a lot of things, NEEDS PRACTICE. These are just tips that will help you pvp better

You shouldn’t press every second. You should hit them, then let go of w, press w again and repeat. It needs to be timed to be effective
