Discord Server Toxicity

The discord is so unbelievably toxic at times. I love IL but definitely made a mistake joining the voice channel. The forums are great 90% of the time but the discord is so unbelievably bad and makes me feel unsafe. There was moaning noises and stuff in the chat, and mentions of molestation and other crap. It is my fault for joining and getting my PTSD triggered but christ... wow. Something needs to be done about the discord. It is so bad. Maybe some form of discord mods should be a thing and not just the Minecraft mods who focus on the actual server. I don't know who said what as I was playing at the same time. Never joining the VC again ;/ ik it's my fault but still, some people there have no decency.

every few days or so mods join and moderate the vc, but unfortunately they can't 24/7. i'm so sorry that that happened to you and i hope you feel okay. maybe next time shoot a dm to a mod? because what they were doing doesn't seem acceptable whatsoever : /

Sadly the discord isn't as heavily moderated as kit pvp. I always take precautions and mute anybody with "skeppy" "a6d" or "bbh" in their names as they usually end up being ear rapers or try to play music that often ends up being really annoying. If someone bugs you, just mute them and turn their user volume to 0.

I really hope they have plans to do something about the discord, but in the meantime just be careful.

I like being in the Invaded discord but if I’m joining a large community voice call I prefer to go in the ones in smaller community discords such as Skyblock Haven because due to the smaller amount of people, you can still interact with InvadedLands players but its not as bad as the regular Invaded discord imo.

Yeah always some squeaker trying to use a voice changer, ear rapers, toxics/tryhards. The only time I really ever join an invaded mic is when I see you or another person that I’d like to talk to in there, though the chats are never enjoyable because I have to constantly watch who’s joining so my eardrums don’t explode

First off I just wanted to apologize for what you experienced on our platforms, it shouldn't happen but unfortunately it is a discord server, toxicity and similar things are unavoidable but I guarantee we're trying to reduce it as much as possible. Please don't hesitate to message me or another staff member in the future if someone is breaking a rule and we'll take care of it.
