I messaged Neon on twitter asking if he would be interested in getting some help (im learning java rn and making some plugins and have had a server for a bit, so i understand how servers work and whatnot), and he hasn't responded :/

Hypixel also has like 20+ full time paid developers and they have a network of servers so they can run a script to take some down at once while leaving others up, and they just move people between them. Invaded doesn't really have that capacity.

Im not. Im saying hypixel is much better equipped to handle rollouts of updates and stuff because they have a larger infrastructure. I think invaded should absolutely hire a larger dev team I actually included that in my original message

Again, vanish is a big part of staffing, it's literally physically impossible to respond to every player messaging them AND handle punishments.

If I am able to notice spammers, staff should be able to as well. Even you said it yourself that it gets on your nerves, even when staff are online and getting spammed.

he also earns some money from his ad revenue, but yea they are making a ton of money and could most likely afford to pay another dev. Even if they can't there are people (me) who would be willing to work part time as a volunteer for the experience lol

Going along with what I said, they must be on an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) Meaning they are not allowed to share how much money they make from the server. OR how much percentage of they get from the server's money as a whole.

you can literally calculate how much the invaded shop makes in the span of 24 hours, just by checking the "most recent donations" tab all the time, oops.
