Exactly, I once bought a water bottle at the local store and I drank it. Then they didn't let me return it even though I still had the product ready to be returned. I demanded a refund and wanted to speak to their manager but he was a manager. 2/10 I'm never going there.

You can chargeback, however there's no point because there is a low chance of winning the case, and you will be blacklisted. Also, charging back in your case is classified as fraud.
