Can someone explain why i get random claim blocks while playing the server? i'd like to know how to get them.

Vote everyday.

you get a certain amount of claim blocks every hour that are given in 5-20 minute intervals (not sure 100%)
basically meaning, you can get more by playing the server.
you also get 100 claim blocks every time you vote, you can do this daily

Or you be a badman and get 10 alts and afk on them 24/7 to get infinite claim blocks

If you play survival for more than a day then you'll see that the new players always ask the same questions over and over again. I'm happy to help people if I feel like it but it gets real annoying and I find myself ignoring them a bit more than I used to. So I'm going to make a QA type post...
