Are you seriously questioning why people are leaving?

YOUR SO RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Invadedlands new staff so trash and idiot. i miss Bruhv and Lasike They was THEEEEEEEE best mods ever !!!!!!!!! <3
Lasike leaked IPs and griefed the original IPC server. Model staff member!

Alright so, I really don't get how the management and the community are so blind.
Do you seriously not get why so many OGs and actually interesting people leave?
Now you'd think I'd be talking about the recent staff season, but that really was only the last straw.

You guys are running a horrible, unenjoyable and honestly idiotic server.
A few months ago I opened a thread called "What's left to do?" on the legacy forums, that really was never looked at or given opinion about by any of the highers ups, so let me list some of them.

What's left to do when:
- The whole community is full of fanboys and toxic morons
- The whole gameplay goes in an endless circle
- The whole server is P2W
- Horrible management who often ignores community opinions, even though we are right.
- The only updates come once 6 months

Now I'd like to elaborate on each one of these.

- The whole community is full of fanboys and toxic morons
Pretty self explanatory, I've talked about this matter enough times in the past and no reason to repeat it.

- The whole gameplay goes in an endless circle
What do we have to do?
Let's take KitPVP's circle:
- Kill
- Collect Loot
- Kill
- Collect Loot
- Kill
- Collect Loot
Like that back and forth.
We have to do that every single time we come online until an event happens or Skeppy or Zelkam come online and give us entertainment.
A server should not run based on an admin's interference. You need to let us create our experience, we shouldn't wait online having nothing to do 24/7 just so we can meet our favorite youtuber. That's not how a server is supposed to run.

- The whole server is P2W
Honestly, on servers like Hypixel or MunchyMC or almost every place you could say that the management and ownership are good caring for their community, and invest so much money into it to make sure we have a good experience.
Where the **** does that take place in InvadedLands?
You guys charge us hundreds of dollars in order to get the loot we shouldn't pay for and are constantly breaking the Minecraft EULA by selling us products that make us win in fights and give us the feeling that we're actually good at this game only to find that on another server we're garbage.
Where does that money honestly go to? We're not receiving updates, you're not paying your hard working staff members, and it really doesn't seem like you're ever working to improve the constant lag issues that occur on here, that force us to leave almost immediately so Minecraft doesn't crash.

- Horrible management who often ignores community opinions, even though we are right.
If you know me as a forums user, you'd know I create threads like these a lot.
Threads that criticize and construct feedback towards the staff team and management's wrong doings.
Out of about 15 threads, only one of my threads was ever responded to. One that wasn't even criticizing the staff team, but talking about @Gxdda 's blacklist.
How ignorant can you be InvadedLands management?
How can you not listen to the players that you force to pay hundreds of dollars?
How can you not see that the way you're running this server is horrible?

I was speaking to a staff member (Who I will not mention) a few days ago, who told me there are a lot of things behind the scenes that the InvadedLands community doesn't know about, what's forcing them from reading appeals, buycraft support, forums, and so much more.
If the much work that's BTS stops you so much from giving us support, then why don't you spend some of the money that you force us to pay in order to hire managers and developers that will supply the support we need?
There are plenty of managers out there who I'm sure would love to work for InvadedLands and give us the support we need, but why's that not happening?

- The only updates come once 6 months
Again, pretty self explanatory.
Why are we supposed to wait 6 months for an update that could've been developed in less than a week?
Especially for updates who don't affect gameplay at all and are often quite boring.

People who soon enough understood the above statements got the brain to leave this idiotic server, and apply for ones where they'd have a nice environment to work on.

Start listening to us and start fixing your server, or trust me, soon enough you won't be seeing your usual playerbase.
Bruhh agreed

@Mega @Zelkam we know you are aware of this, 2.5k views you still don't wanna deny or approve the facts? I don't agree with half the thing Donald said, but i'd rather it all happen than not, so don't be ignorant

If you dislike the server so much, why are you still playing on it? There's nothing forcing you to continue putting yourself through an unenjoyable experience.
- The whole community is full of fanboys and toxic morons

Yes, there are many players who are either fanboys, toxic, or both. However, in my opinion, the kind players make up for it. Also, being a fan of the server's owner isn't a bad thing by default - it can simply become annoying when people spam the chat, which can be quickly and easily dealt with.

Every single server with every single gamemode is a cycle unless you are playing a story-oriented game such as a survival adventure map or something of the sort. On every single PVP server, you kill people over and over. That's what the server is. On any minigame server, you play the same game over and over. Repeated actions are not a bad thing - it isn't the action itself that people come for, it is the experiences within each individual action.

I agree that default ranks could get some better gear to be able to compete against ranked players. However, your final paragraph in this section is misinformation. You do receive updates, quite often actually. Just because new features aren't announced doesn't mean they aren't being looked into. Many tweaks and updates happen all the time. Neon works hard to improve lag issues, the reason you don't seem to see any changes is because as mentioned before, many things are minor tweaks and they fix minor issues. Lots of bugs and similar issues are fixed behind-the-scenes, not publicly. The lag issues are being looked into - it isn't like Neon can just snap his fingers and everything will magically no longer lag.

Responses to your personal threads does not equal reading and private discussion of those threads. You aren't entitled to know every single thing that happens within the staff team and our management. Just because someone doesn't respond to you doesn't mean they haven't taken into account what you have said. Also, the "even though we are right" segment of that header is extremely opinionated. You personally agreeing with something doesn't make that thing "right", nor does your disagreement make something "wrong". The management is not ignorant - many commonly complained about issues (such as the length of time it takes to handle blacklist appeals) have been discussed and are being improved upon. Once again, you can't make and spread misinformation based on your personal assumptions simply because you are not part of the conversations that take place within management. Nobody is forcing players to pay hundreds of dollars. Yes, it makes it easier to get ahead if you have a rank, however it is in no way required. The way this server is being run is not horrible. If you believe that to be the case, once again, why are you still here?

Once again, nobody is forcing anybody to pay money. This is an exaggerated statement that is simply used to paint Invaded in a bad light. As for the lack of time able to be spent reading appeals and buycraft info, these things are being worked on and improved upon. Management isn't simply turning a blind eye to these issues. As I said earlier, just because you personally aren't part of these conversations doesn't mean they aren't happening.

Updates come out all the time, they simply aren't announced. Take the trade command in survival, for example. It wasn't properly announced when it came back. The major gameplay updates come every six months as that's when the servers reset, so it makes the most sense to have major changes to the gamemodes at these times. The amount of time developing an update isn't what causes it to be released in six-month intervals, it is the cycle the servers' resets.
People who soon enough understood the above statements got the brain to leave this idiotic server, and apply for ones where they'd have a nice environment to work on.
I will say this again: If you hate this server so much, why are you still here? Nothing is stopping you from simply moving on. If you don't like the changes being made, find a server that you do enjoy. All you're doing when you preach about how awful the server is and how much you dislike it / the way it's being run is making yourself more angry. Either learn to accept and adapt to change when it comes or find a server that never changes. I wish you luck in doing so.
Start listening to us and start fixing your server, or trust me, soon enough you won't be seeing your usual playerbase.
Management has been listening. They don't have to agree with every single idea you present. If the "usual playerbase" are all people who simply whine and complain about the server and how much they dislike it, I won't be sad to see them go.

I hope that you can take these points into account and try to see where I am coming from. Have a good day.

But Neptune, this thread did change a very big thing XD

neptune you're cool and all but name one update kitpvp got since last reset that actually made any difference in gameplay

If you dont like the server leave it? Skeppy dont care abt the players and so dont the 11yrs playing it. They care abt being in a skeppy video.

Pickupfilter, which greatly helps players (namely defaults and lower ranking players that everyone complains can't get anything) obtain/collect their desired gear and items. The combat timer is visibly shown on the sidebar which is helpful when needing to know when you'll be out of combat that way you aren't just spamming a command over and over until it works. Trade was adding, which greatly reduces the amount of scamming that happens on the server and in turn makes things more positive as you don't have angry scamming victims cursing people out in chat quite nearly as often. Admittedly, this recent reset didn't include extreme changes to KitPVP and its gameplay, but that doesn't mean that nothing convenient changed at all as was implied in this thread.

Pickup filter was added on the winter season reset. This proves McDonald’s points that major updates come only every 6 months. ( so was combat timer )

pickupfilter and trade don't count; they were added with the full reset in december
I'll give you the combat tag addition but that's stupid as hell
you're telling me in the span of 3+ months all that was added was a small indicator on the scoreboard that wasn't even necessary? Keep in mind the command you're talking about is 3 characters long

I agree with you but it was necessary to have a timer

My mistake with the pickupfilter and trade - I thought what was being asked was changes that came with the reset, not after. My apologies for that.

I wasn't denying the fact that major gameplay changes only come every six months - rather, I was explaining why this is. As the servers reset twice a year, it makes the most sense for major changes to be implemented at the same time. It wouldn't be logical to change a major aspect of gameplay in the middle of a server's season.

I don't know every feature that was tweaked/added/removed/etc. However, I do know that it hasn't been absolutely nothing. Not everything done is about adding a new cool feature to the server. Most things are focused on improving existing features or fixing bugs.

Overall, I'm not discouraging threads like these from being made. If you see an issue with the server, don't be afraid to speak out about it. However, excessive exaggeration as well as misinformation is not the way to go about things. If you would like to discuss anything I've said further, please don't hesitate to message me on discord or start a forums conversation with me. I don't wish to argue with people on a public thread.
