Origin: Invadedlands was one of the first servers I had ever joined back in 2015, it all started at my friend's house. We were messing around when we stumbled upon Invadedlands & Skeppy's youtube channel. We checked it out & soon enough I found myself playing here. When I first joined the server, I was ganked by a bunch of diamonds and my hopeless pvp skills couldn't help survive. From there, I had one goal, and it was to improve my pvp skills so, I stayed, but my goal was never accomplished... As the days went by, I started making lots of friends that were nice and supportive. The community had really grown on me back then, it was truly something I could never forget. This community back then helped me with making friends back then as well, I was a really shy person and soon enough, I couldn't believe I was out there talking and presenting myself all because from these amazing community members. I couldn't thank them enough (I will mention them soon).
Time Skips/Intervals: 2016 was really the time I had started to talk more and more to people, they were truly my best friends and these amazing people were the world too me back then, at times I favored them over my parents... In 2017, it was the time for departure as many of my good friends started leaving for either other games or personal reasons, this also concluded my days and it stopped short for months. I did hope on here and there, but I was never fully enjoying it how I used too. 2018 was when I had completely vanished from this community hoping to never return, but I did and when I did, I had everyone. The merge really never interested me that much, but I did play a little! I couldn't accept the change for what it had become and soon enough came 2019. The Summer of 2019, I had started to see the population from Minecraft rise after declining of the past years, I had soon returned and found some new interest on how the community was ran, it was certainly toxic to grip at first. Considering I had seen this as my "home" server for the past years, I finally decided I wanted to make a reappearance and see what the present day was like. Although it rough at first, I was able to make new friends & meet many wonderful people!
Thank you & Reason for Deperature: I really couldn't thank Invadedlands enough for all the positive effects it had on my life. It is insane thinking that a block game community had ended up helping me with my social anxiety and how it taught me to express who I am freely. The people I was able to meet were so wonderful and kind that they were truly a family I could never leave & I would always side with. That being said, I wanted to clarify why I am leaving this community. The main reason I'm leaving this community is because it no longer suits me, coming back and adapting was my childhood crushed! I had mentioned a lot of positive moments, but i had times were I wanted completely vanish and never return. I had soon learned that I was forcing enjoyment upon myself, something that deeply cut me when I realized there are other things I could have been doing. That being said, this was one of the best things that happened too because in the end of 2019 I was able to reconnect with my friends who have deserted and chosen to never make a reappearance. Not a lot of you know this, but an unfortunate event happened at my soccer tryouts, I had been cut from the team for "bad sportsmanship" after body checking a scumbag for cleating people. I wanted to dedicate my time to improving more as an athlete and with that, I must also sacrifice the time spent playing video games! This does conclude my tale here on Invadedlands, this being my last week before I vanish in thin air. Only way I'd return is for Soup (one of the main reasons I stayed) or if something happens that makes me wanna comeback, the possibility is highley unlikely
