If you read the thread, I did not defend myself. I know that what I did deserves a punishment, and I'm not trying to act the victim or shift blames. What I wanted to point out, is that sometimes some infraction punishments are up to the staff member, which means that someone may get less punishment for the same action that someone else did. I was using my example because there's a big difference between the punishment one of the staff saw fit and the punishment another staff decided to add. In my case, some people got banned from the discord (like me) and I understand the reasoning. What I questioned in the thread was that another staff came along and decided to blacklist me, and I later discovered that other people were NOT blacklisted even if they had said my same exact thing at the same exact time. In the thread I also said I understand why in the rules it says "use common sense", but I just wanted some feedback on how you feel about some infractions not having a precise punishment. I understand that there can be different shades of rule infractions, but having a discord ban or a server blacklist over the same thing? My blacklist is already reduced, I just wanted to hear your thoughts on this since I already saw threads "complaining" about a player having received a worse punishment even if they'd done the same thing as another person. I'm not trying to say my punishment is unfair. I'm just noting the difference between a discord ban and a blacklist for the same thing at the same time.

I understand that, at the time I thought nothing of it but I understand that. I understand that talking about DDoSing like that, and I did not say staff decided to target me because they didn't like me. I picked my situation as an example, since there was a big difference between the punishments applied. I shouldn't have done that probably, and picked a different example I saw a while ago.

About asking what people think about the fact that staff can decide what punishment to apply and change a staff member's decision, thus punishing someone more than someone else that did the same exact thing. Anyway can we stop talking about this? Because it's all going towards my punishment and that was not the point of the thread.

Let's take my example, since it's the one I know best. A few people say the joke, I don't know if they got banned, I know for sure that me and another person got banned from the discord. Next thing I know, another staff decides to alter my punishment and gives a reasoning for it (up till here, all good). I learned a little while ago that the other person that got banned right before me for the same reason did not have a blacklist added, and is able to play on the server. Also, it was a staff member that told me about the fact that some punishments (like joking about DDoSing) are up to staff to decide or change.
