This idea is so good...↑ Suggestion: Up voting ↑
✦ Pros: Avoid unnecessarily post boosting, Easier way to bump threads, quick & easy way to grab the attention of others if the post is important, could potentially help indicate this thread could be becoming problematic after a certian period of time, and its overall a nicer addition.
✶ Explanation on how it could work: Up voting is basically like reacting to the post, but instead it keeps the post bumped up so, people don't have to unnecessarily comment to keep bumping the posts to get the attention of others. , After the post has been locked, this would also lock the feature to up vote in order to avoid keeping locked threads from resurfacing after it has been dealt with. Up voting can also be a good indication that a thread should be overlooked by either staff or management due to the amount of people who have agreed with what this thread had to say or want to get the attention of either staff members or higher ups. This could also be under a tab called "Trending" so, newer posts don't get buried under the popular ones. It would work like a drop down were u can switch between "New Posts" & "Trending". Below I've left some ideas for how it could look like on the forums.

✦ NOTE: I used Paint.net to create these models of what it could look like, obviously the last one should be able to fit in the screen and there might be tons of other flaws, but guess what I dont care since its just a MODEL
✦ Credits To Redot: For telling me the suggestion that it should be under a new tab so popular posts don't over take new posts.

Very true, words of wisdom right hereThat could completely rid of our necroposting problems. I like it.
Of course, new posts would never be seen over the most popular ones, similar to how new posts on r/askreddit get buried.
So if anyone who could possibly implement this idea is seeing this, I’d want tabs such as “new” and “top” so I can still answer to people asking questions in general discussion.
overall, cool suggestion!
You got my upvote.
:O def not reviving thread because this ideas great and people should take it into considerationyes

love it or hate it this man is spitting out true facts staffGreat idea, but it may take too much thinking and developing, two things the InvadedLands staff team is known between the players for not doing, whether this is true or not.
