I think the general point is that, to the trained eye yes this is all very avoidable. Given how much one can profit off of scamming on the server, it's more a root problem of [people are constantly manipulating others] rather than [just avoid the scam, duh]. The latter is a bandage fix.

Of course it’s wrong, but I think there is no way to fix every human being ever. It would be nice to do that with the wave of the magic wand and bam everyone is nice, but sometimes that doesn’t work out, and it seems like this is one of those cases where all you can do is keep away from that manipulation and scamming as much as possible.

Yeah of course I did inform him he’s an asshole, but as I said he was new to server I was just teaching him the basics and he’s not a stranger he’s my irl friend so I do trust him of course haha. No this was not “easily” avoidable unless I know he was actually capable of killing me with my pvp off that quickly. Which I do know now so yeah now it probs won’t happen again (I think).

What you expect to be your relaxing evening playing block game turns into either teleporting to a person, right clicking and losing all of your money or getting killed with pvp off and losing all your stuff.

The first one CAN be seen as being stupid but only to the eye of someone who’s aware of these scams. Me, who’s been on the server for 3 years didn’t even know about these sign shop scams and I’m very sure I’m not the only one.

So now I knew that I couldn’t tp to him and to be sure I even never let him tp to me because I’m not sure of the other possible scams/tricks he’s capable off.

well he didn’t to to me but today he tp’d to someone who was near me, he put (I think) a charged creeper egg behind me and I died even though I had immortal armor on. For those saying it could have been a normal creeper: no. If you want me too I will but right now I will not explain why but I am 100% sure he made me explode.

If you can’t even stand still for 3 seconds outside of your own claim without the risk of getting exploded with pvp off and losing everything, how do I trust anymore??

honestly the damage this is all doing to me is minor but it’s just so sad, just absolutely sad that people find their joy in doing this.

That was it. I know this won’t change anything and this won’t change what he does I just wanted to make a post about this so everyone knows what he’s like and that he cannot be trusted.
