I know I’ve been gone for a bit and I just wanted to give an explanation as to why that is.
Most of you know that over the last three or so months I’ve been working full time plus overtime at my job. I have done nothing but wake up, work, get home, and sleep again. I’ve had early mornings, late nights, and even overnights that I’ve had to fight through to support my family while everything is getting shut down again. My mental health through this period took a nosedive as well. I have not been in a good state of mind at all for a while now, and I needed to do something to recover because I cannot put Tina through my mental health struggles by proxy.
I’m happy to say that for me personally I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve managed to complete my university transfer for this fall, my family and I are now much more stable financial wise, and the toughest part of the holiday season at the store is now in my rear view mirror. There are still a few things I have to take care of, such as ensuring that Quebec is going to give me the healthcare coverage that I rightfully should be receiving, but that should be resolved within the next few days.
This is all to say that next week I should be finally able to come back into the fold here. I want to genuinely apologize to all of you for my absence during the holidays. I also apologize for not reading/responding to most if not all your messages asking for help, there was just nothing I could do. I’ll be able to start helping again come Monday fingers crossed.
