The 1.9 combat updates are basically irrelevant for survival's gameplay. The new blocks (even beyond 1.9) are totally worth getting the crappy combat for me at least. I'm sure many of the other players feel the same. I hope they do this when the reset rolls around!

normally i would want 1.8 survival a lot more but tbh im getting pretty bored of survival and the new stuff in 1.9+ will prob get me more interested
 
they're updating to at least 1.12.2 after reset. Also why is skyblock /warp pvp so much better than survival /warp pvp and can we also get /claimpvp and /claimkick and literally every other thing we've asked for like 3 years ago D:
