You clearly did not read the announcement. They aren't changing anything. All that is changing is you will use a microsoft account to log in instead of a mojang account. that is the only difference.

Basically, its a new form of security, so its harder for your account to get compromised.
In the video, they said Nothing about java is going to change. No modding, skins, pvp, anything. You only get a free cape, and you can also link your java account to minecraft services (Aka minecraft dungeons)
JUST make sure you actually transition, if you dont your account will basically get locked out and you wont be able to play.

Thankss, this cleared out some of my concerns.
Well, when they say "nothing" thats not exactally true. A major thing that will be broken is 3rd party minecraft launchers like Twitch, badlion, or whatever that lets you open minecraft in anything other then the offical launcher, so this will limit us on MANY things.
java accounts are not becoming bedrock ones, they are no longer having mojang accounts and moving to Microsoft which makes it much more secure

I mean minecraft supports twitch so i dunno if that'll change much ( f6
) but idk I dont think third party launchers will be to broken? even if they are the devs will probably get it fixed and itll only be broken for a month at most.Alright, but aren't bedrock accounts just microsoft accounts, beuase I also have bedrock minectaft with java, and I login to bedrock with my microsoft account, so does this mean we can put a java and a bedrock account onto one email? or do we have to create another microsoft account.

I personally think this is a great change! It means that it will be much harder to join servers and play on "Alt accounts" That don't belong to you.
