You may not sell soft currency for hard currency, neither separately or along with ranks as a single or recurring payout. This is regardless of what you can use the soft currency for.

2) You can't sell unbans or reduced ban time.
Invaded does both of these things, which allows Mojang to take the server down at any point.

Almost all servers do these type of transactions, the EULA no longer plays a large part in minecraft/buycraft transactions and rather focuses on real legal problems that are taken to court of ownership of the game etc
