generally u should never do something that prohibits a player from playing a gamemode permanently. I'd classify this scam along with some others under the following rules:

-> No stalking/harassing any player

-> Use common sense. If common sense dictates something should most likely be against the rules, then do not do it! If you are ever in doubt about something please ask a staff member beforehand.

-> Be respectful to all players and staff

I understand that certain scams are allowed on survival, but there are reasons for those. They are often one time occurrences, and only hurt the victim for a short period of time.

A scam like this makes the game completely unplayable and therefore is not allowed on the server. Even if the rules doesn't specifically outline it, it is important to use common sense when doing something questionable.

Most scams are allowed on survival because it is too hard to consistently enforce and define what is and isn’t a scam. Ones that literally break someone else’s game should fall under common sense. This is just as portal trapping is bannable.
