please read the new annoucement before you read this. if there are any similar posts on this i'm not trying to copy them or something i'm making this on my own terms without seeing any posts about this before, please try to understand from my pov btw. yeah let's get on with the essay

now i'm not trying to make an invaded hate post, but seriously after 7 months and even with one developer where are party duels? you said that throughout the previous season they would be implemented, but even in this new season i still don't see them. and if it were cancelled, why? i see no disadvantages to party duels. it would have been an amazing addition to the game.

where are any updates that have been promised multiple times? all that we've got in 5 years are map and item resets, no major updates. just minor updates. not even updates really, just one or two things that keep being adjusted ever so slightly every 6 months.

the point is you just told us again there will updates and hopefully more developers. but why do i get the feeling that's not going to happen? on a serious note we've been lied to in the past about this. how can we trust that there will be updates now?

Conclusion:
i'm not sure. the only thing i'm sure of is if there are updates, and more developers for said updates to be done sooner, we wouldn't be in this situation where there are less and less players daily. invaded would be completely different, new, exciting, and of interest to new players that will see your advertisements. but that too, it's like you said, there haven't been advertisements in a year. will that happen either? ty for anyone who read this far into my essay.

TL;DR:
can we trust that invaded is going to be pushing out these "updates" and "advertisements", or is it just magically not going to happen again?
 
Maybe this is just me, but wasn’t there quite a lot of new content in the kitpvp reset last November? I feel like a lot has been added to the game mode since I first started playing, and especially since 5 years ago.

in the recent announcement, they talked about how most of the servers core plugins are being recoded so that more than one developer can easily work on content for the server. Once this is done, hopefully more new content can come out
 
You have a good point and it is slightly concerning that after 7 months not much has been added however I do still think we can expect big changes this next reset. As of right now I assume the staff team is a bit overwhelmed by blacklist and ban appeals and on top of that they’re dealing with the server being blocked by Mojang. I think the server is kind of at a stand still right now until they get unblocked by Mojang so they can start getting new players. I think that’s the main reason not many new things have been added recently.

i kinda agree with you, what we have now is pretty similar to old invaded (i wasnt here 5y ago, about 2 1/2 years ago but i still remember some of what i saw). the only differences are insignificant (punch 2 in shop, different crate prizes), and clans ofc but if anything clans made the server worse

As you have acknowledged, there has been a new announcement which thankfully, and for the first time in history has been transparent and honest with us. Zack had talked all about the development plans which has definitely brought a little more light to the community.

But on a more serious note, just like you have said,

There has been a long wait for little changes. Today I hopped on for my first time in maybe like 1 month and I joined SB, Surv, and Kit with not more than 20 players on each server. All I saw in chat was "server needs to do this, that" blah blah blah and I could even spark a conversation with people I have never spoken to before about what the server needs to do. Credit where due, Neon is an amazing guy who is hardworking and nonstop within the network and there should be absolutely 0 hate directed at him but the server really needs new, unique ideas that are out of the server's comfort zone if they want to continue for another year. Like for real. I know it sounds dramatized and I get it, but most regular players can see it as they talk about the "server dying" constantly as well as the admins addressing a decrease in the playercount. Which they have been open to us [the community] about.

The problem is, as brought up today in Kit, by not only myself but other players is the fact that every single reset is the same, the content is repetitive and they find themselves getting bored within a day after reset. The economy is uneven with little attempts at fixing it and the list goes on.

About a year ago today, I brought up to a manager a very long-winded suggestion about clans, that I can still see working today, however, they did not like the suggestion but instead decided to add a very iffy clan system that is fully automated that the community isn't much in favour about. I'm already getting flashbacks from my harry potter thread I made a year ago so I'm going to try end this here before I rant on for another 20,000 words and get blacklisted again but seriously, the server needs to step out of its comfort zone and add new and unique idea's that the server is in favour of as well as not being scared to discuss and come up with the best solution for you guys.

Just take the suggestion part of the forums as an example, they are closed? In probably the most important time for the server needing community ideas.

This by far is not a post of hate, it is a post from many people put into one with my own words and is done to help. I understand that lots of people may disagree with the general idea of this and you are welcome to be anti. The server is everyone's playground and everyone is entitled to their own opinions and suggestions. I could create a massive thread of ideas, suggestions, and opinions if people wanted, but for now I'm quite happy to be a silent voice in the background, drop me a message or just ask if you'd like me to bring ideas foward.
