- The whole gameplay goes in an endless circle
What do we have to do?
Let's take KitPVP's circle:
- Kill
- Collect Loot
- Kill
- Collect Loot
- Kill
- Collect Loot
Like that back and forth.
We have to do that every single time we come online until an event happens or Skeppy or Zelkam come online and give us entertainment.
A server should not run based on an admin's interference. You need to let us create our experience, we shouldn't wait online having nothing to do 24/7 just so we can meet our favorite youtuber. That's not how a server is supposed to run.

It is interesting to see how now that there are two major youtube channels owned by staff of the server, that the server is suffering because people are starting to rely on that for entertainment.
However, I would argue with you on one point: while kitpvp may have a boring gameplay circle, the same can't be said for survival or skyblock, since they are open-world games with a focus on building, and player interactions. In fact, I exclusively play the skyblock server, partly because I'm trash at pvp, but also because it's the easiest to be creative in- I can host events, build interesting things, and make progress- something which kitpvp seems to be sorely lacking.
Overall, though, I agree with the points you have made in this thread.

I agree, the EULA violations are probably part of the reasons they can't/won't move up to the newest version of minecraft.
On the other hand, there could be legitimate issues with moving up to 1.15 (or 1.16?), like the fact that the new versions are way laggier and bulkier, and moving up to them would make the server lose out on a large portion of its playerbase- the part with lower-end computers, which includes me, typing this on a dual-core 8 gigs of RAM laptop. In addition, 1.8, being less bulky, might be easier to run on a server, and at a larger scale.

If you guys hate this server so much, why bother sticking around?
I guess you have never heard of constructive criticism. We want the server to improve idiot. Doesn’t matter though cuz I guarantee you all the staff have seen this post and have literally just ignored it lmao

that's why they have 1.8 it's easier to run especially on a kitpvp/skyblock server the only people who like 1.15/1.16 are probably survival players

That would be stalking and newsflash airports aren't a good idea rn with COVID-19

1. We are not all 13 year old kids. (Even so, some rare 13 year olds can be cool!)
2. Yes they don't have to listen to us technically but the player's opinion matter and we have a right to point out problems with the server. Stop simping for the management. We don't have to listen to you either telling us what we can complain about.
i'll admit im under 13 am I cool breadloaf

I used to play on a dual-core APU with 4 gigabytes of RAM on Linux on Invadedlands, and I didn't have problems at all. Even with newer versions, I still managed to go above 60 FPS. My suggestion for upgrading would be to have a hub accepting everyone 1.7-1.16, a KitPvP only accepting 1.7-1.8, Survival on 1.15.2 accepting lower versions, and Skyblock... idk. Anywhere from 1.14.4 to 1.15.2 for the official version, accepting anywhere from... idk, 1.9 or something. It's possible to do this with plugins such as ViaVersion and ViaBackwards. MunchyMC has survival on 1.15.2, when I played it I was on 1.14.4 and the server was on 1.15.1, and I was able to interact with bees as well.
