"Actually interesting people" "OGs"Do you seriously not get why so many OGs and actually interesting people leave?
Your opinion again does not matter in this context, staff are to be handled by me & @Zelkam, and always will be.Now you'd think I'd be talking about the recent staff season, but that really was only the last straw.
Fans: You walk into your friends house and you see their family members, do you get surprised and complain about it?What's left to do when:
- The whole community is full of fanboys and toxic morons
Welcome to KitPvP!- The whole gameplay goes in an endless circle
What do we have to do?
Let's take KitPVP's circle:
- Kill
- Collect Loot
- Kill
- Collect Loot
- Kill
- Collect Loot
Like that back and forth.
We have to do that every single time we come online until an event happens or Skeppy or Zelkam come online and give us entertainment.
Gonna reply to this in short because there's a lot I can say but it would be most effective to give you the simplest response;Honestly, on servers like Hypixel or MunchyMC or almost every place you could say that the management and ownership are good caring for their community, and invest so much money into it to make sure we have a good experience.
Where the **** does that take place in InvadedLands?
You guys charge us hundreds of dollars in order to get the loot we shouldn't pay for and are constantly breaking the Minecraft EULA by selling us products that make us win in fights and give us the feeling that we're actually good at this game only to find that on another server we're garbage.
Where does that money honestly go to? We're not receiving updates, you're not paying your hard working staff members, and it really doesn't seem like you're ever working to improve the constant lag issues that occur on here, that force us to leave almost immediately so Minecraft doesn't crash.
And we'll continue to ignore community opinions as we see fit, the amount of power you think the community has is unrealistic, no major network will ever give the community the power that you expect; I don't care whether or not you think that you're correct on a topic about a server you have little to no knowledge of behind the scenes, I really couldn't care less.- Horrible management who often ignores community opinions, even though we are right.
You act as if management is actively watching all of your threads looking to pick out the one you made mistakes on; nah you probably have a lot wrong in the other threads as well, however that was the thread that was seen at the time and I responded explaining why more than half your points were wrong.Out of about 15 threads, only one of my threads was ever responded to. One that wasn't even criticizing the staff team, but talking about @Gxdda 's blacklist.
Again literally no one, not one person, has ever forced you to pay any amount to the network. How can you not listen to the players that you force to pay hundreds of dollars?
How can you fail to realize that you don't know how the server operates therefore any opinion you have on how it's being run is of no importance to anyone of actual power or knowledge in how things function. How can you not see that the way you're running this server is horrible?
I was speaking to a staff member (Who I will not mention) a few days ago, who told me there are a lot of things behind the scenes that the InvadedLands community doesn't know about, what's forcing them from reading appeals, buycraft support, forums, and so much more.
If the much work that's BTS stops you so much from giving us support, then why don't you spend some of the money that you force us to pay in order to hire managers and developers that will supply the support we need?
When this was written I imagine all of these sections; ban & blacklist appeals, purchase supports, etc were stacked up; however right now, all of these sections aren't stacked up, there's 3 purchase supports ( all waiting on responses for or that i'm about to respond to ), and both a page or so of blacklist / ban appeals that are going to be cleared out very soon ( both sections previously had 15+ pages stacked up each ).Why are we supposed to wait 6 months for an update that could've been developed in less than a week?
Especially for updates who don't affect gameplay at all and are often quite boring.
A lot of reasonable people would agree with some of your statements (including me) however a large majority of them will recognize that while your points were strong in some places, you effectively managed to degrade the value of said points by littering the thread with very limiting, self-centered opinions from either yourself or your friends that are biased, opinions like those have no place in a thread that should've focused on the facts.People who soon enough understood the above statements got the brain to leave this idiotic server, and apply for ones where they'd have a nice environment to work on.
No response to this I just thought it was funny lolStart listening to us and start fixing your server, or trust me, soon enough you won't be seeing your usual playerbase.
I just read this whole thing and Damn mega really is a master folder. Then again it took a single staff member months to reply to this thread after everyone else ignoring itThis thread was neglected for a while however I'll give you the satisfaction of a response; straight from management, i'll respond point by point.
"Actually interesting people" "OGs"
Reason why this is irrelevant is I literally don't care, I get exactly why they leave; and why a vast majority of them come back 2 weeks (maximum) later.
Your opinion in this context has no relevance, why would I care about who you think is interesting? This was a joke of a "point".
Your opinion again does not matter in this context, staff are to be handled by me & @Zelkam, and always will be.
If you dislike a certain staff member; get in line, you are not the first nor does it matter, every staff member in every reasonably sized online community has to deal with the stupidity of certain members of the community and it is what it is, that's why it barely affects anyone on the team, not your place to say anything questioning their position, unless they are seriously in violation of rules or something related to that. If that is the case you may report that to us directly and it'll be handled.
Fans: You walk into your friends house and you see their family members, do you get surprised and complain about it?
So why do you get surprised and complain about "fanboys" when you log onto a server that is owned by a content creator with a large following?
Get used to it, this point was again, a waste of time, both for you to write it out and for me to read.
Toxicity: Welcome to the internet, and more specifically, the PVP community! Anything seriously toxic to the point where it could cause physical harm to another player is taken extremely seriously, and this is known. There's not much that can be done to effectively enforce this as majority of these situations happen OFF of our platforms, making it harder to justify punishments.
Welcome to KitPvP!
Breaking news; this is how traditional KitPvP has been on nearly every single notable server that's had it, with actually less variety, not only this but you are so consumed by your own opinions you don't realize that a majority of players still have interest and enjoy the gamemode as it is.
Do I think everyone still likes KitPvP? No, playing several seasons in the past on alts etc. to get leaderboards I completely get that for people who have been doing this for a while, it gets repetitive and boring. That being said; it's not like there's a magic fix we can implement to make everyone enjoy the gamemode again. That'll most likely never change, however I'm more than willing to make changes where I see fit to make it more enjoyable for all players; not just the small yet loud portion of the server that seems to be fed up with the gamemode.
TL;DR: I acknowledge this point however I don't agree with how you're implying it's like this for every player.
Gonna reply to this in short because there's a lot I can say but it would be most effective to give you the simplest response;
1/2 of the servers you mentioned openly break the EULA as of when this is written (5/2/2020)
If you don't want to buy it, don't, we're not forcing you to play nor purchase anything.
That money does indeed go into development, paying monthly server costs (which are in the thousands, just so you have some idea of what's happening lol), whether or not you decide to believe that, is on you. With that being said, it's a business, majority if not all large networks are businesses, beyond server costs etc. it's profit. Not everything goes into development, not everything goes back into the server, because the server is meant to make a profit, large servers such as Hypixel don't dump all of their earnings into development, they're looking to profit. It's not this big secret that no one has verified before, this has been stated many times, however again, i'm completely fine with trying to find a decent balance between that and the experience for people who don't want to pay, as we get ideas for reasonable changes we can come up with, or that get suggested, I guarantee they'll be changed whenever / however we decide it's appropriate to do so.
And we'll continue to ignore community opinions as we see fit, the amount of power you think the community has is unrealistic, no major network will ever give the community the power that you expect; I don't care whether or not you think that you're correct on a topic about a server you have little to no knowledge of behind the scenes, I really couldn't care less.

Support is more efficient right now than it has ever been.
While there's no need for extra hands in that sense right now, I recognize the need for consistency in development etc, however that's a very difficult topic to tackle without going in-depth about everything behind the scenes, it's something that's been considered before and is still being considered, there's just a lot that needs to be dealt with. Nonetheless I acknowledge this point and it's considered.
A lot of reasonable people would agree with some of your statements (including me) however a large majority of them will recognize that while your points were strong in some places, you effectively managed to degrade the value of said points by littering the thread with very limiting, self-centered opinions from either yourself or your friends that are biased, opinions like those have no place in a thread that should've focused on the facts.

If I ignored any points; it was purely because something I said applied & invalidated that point already, and it would be repetitive & useless stating it again.
