As some terraforming practice, I made the first Volcano on Invaded's Skyblock!

maybe a little bit more round, but overall I like the design and style. maybe incorporate some andesite and cobblestone in there as well.

if I can leave some suggestions, I would say to put grey blocks like andesite or cobble to add texture, try using slabs and stairs to also add texture, and maybe add outcroppings and small holes into the mountain. also maybe add some leaves as moss near the bottom, or maybe add custom trees. This looks really good though! i would also recommend making it a bit more circular!

and if you choose to use custom trees/moss, if you sprinkle grass blocks with grass plants on top of them into the middle of the leaves, it adds more to the look of the trees/moss. preferably this would be done with /setblock but you most likely dont have access to those commands.

maybe add dirt and grass to the bottom half, with some other green block sprinkled in for texture

I found out that, layering the top of the volcano with many different colored glass and lava at the bottom makes it look awesome.
It will look like the colors are growing.

RED glass
LAVA

I totally agree. The brightness the lava gives actually does affect the looks of the stained glass. Love the mechanism.

glass is a great addition for Minecraft, I just wish you could have colored light from light

Try using magmablocks, colored glass, and if needed a bit of glowstone for the more realistic volcano, I think you’ll find the results pretty cool.

Looks nice, but lacks a bit of texture and it's also quite round. It'd probably look even nicer if you added little lava streams trickling down of the volcano, with some obsidian and other black blocks to add texture and variation.
