Automatic mutes?

Are automatic mutes a thing, similar to anti-cheat? or is all done by moderators? I got muted for toxicity/message spamming about 2 months ago when I messaged 'u suck' to myself like 4 times. It was only for 30 minutes, so obviously I didn't really care, but I just wanted to know if there is a system that automatically would do that, because It was kinda stupid thing to get muted for, even if it was dumb on my part to do.

Maybe a Mod or Admin happened to have SocialSpy on, and didn't see that you were sending it to yourself.

By the way I’m 90% sure there is a bot because I said the n word (no r lol) to my friend in PM’s and got muted the next second after I sent it

The question isn't definitely answered, and I couldn't find another thread about this, I would still like more people to have input before requesting a lock.
maam r u ok they arent a thing, evites said no, what else do u want

No, there isn't. Evites was right, so I'm not sure why you're attacking him for giving you the correct answer.

@e_ic can you lock this thread as the question has been answered
You do realize you're being more of a hindrance than a helpful person by tagging staff; even if the question was answered that doesn't mean the thread needs to be locked. All you're doing is giving a moderator another useless ping that wastes even more of their time.

What's the point of keeping a thread open if the question has been answered.

What's the point in tagging a staff member to close a thread? It's not the end of the world if the thread stays open and on top of that you add more to the workload of the staff member you're tagging. One thread might not seem like much, but they add up really fast when a bunch of people do it.
