Lol I haven't really played this server in a while, but connected again a couple days ago, I started playing it a little often again after.
The main thing I did in my time was bow-spamming at the end of the parkour. When I did this for a while I noticed some people (WITH ranks) were logging off when completing the parkour a couple times. when they logged back in, however, I wasn't able to hit them. It immediatly made sense in my head, and I thought in myself: 'Hey thats pretty good to know, I can do that too.' Before I actually started doing it I literally read the rules to see if there is anything written about it. The closest I came with finding a bannable offense for this, was glitch abusing (Which I also got banned for). For a minute I hesitated, but then I remembered when a few years back (or months idk) a lot of people used to logg off just before a fight, logg back in and then surprise the opponent, I thought that it was somewhat similar and - as far as I know - people didn't get punished for it. And since the invincibilty after logging back in was apparently in the game for a good amount of time, I saw it as a feature. That's when I convinced myself that it wouldn't be a big deal and started doing it. The first day of doing this went good, nothing really happened, but today, I got banned for it.
My conclusion is that I don't agree that I got banned for this (- also without a warning -). Now I know the rules say that if you don't know for sure if something is considered a glitch you have to contact a staff member about it, which I didn't do. That is completely my fault which I admit but I was just to lazy to do it.
I'm not even gonna appeal for a ban because;
1: I most like won't be unbanned anyways.
2: It's only 3 days
3: But most importantly: Because I respect the staff's decisions.
Now I want to clarify something: I don't wanna be seen as a crybaby because I'm making a public forum post about it, I don't even care THAT much about it and just wanted to state my opinion.
Also, for anyone toxic out there: I know I 'deserve' to be banned because I bow spam people at the spawn parkour.
TLDR: I got banned for abusing a glitch that I don't really see as a glitch.
PS: No, I'm not going to report other people who did this, even though I have the recording of it. I only would've done that if they were toxic towards me in public or even msg's.
