They don’t ban people if they jokingly say they are cheating.

They wouldn’t have banned you because of a joke. If you appeal and are actually guilty of cheating you should admit and it will get reduced. However if you weren’t, say you weren’t and they should be able to escalate it and check and see you weren’t.

Well, if that is what you claim thew story to be, you can go appeal and then they would accept your appeal. Posting about it on the forums, whether it was legit or not, surely won't help you get unbanned

I mean it’s pretty self explanatory that even as a joke a threat to DDos a local ip will get you in trouble. Even if other people said it, doesn’t excuse the fact you did too.

If you weren’t cheating, your appeal will be looked at soon and they will be able to unban if you really weren’t cheating. Making a forums post about it will not help your case.
