I started a new island on Skyblock, and I am seeking advice from the community. Do you prefer a large cactus farm to make money? Or spawners? What is better for early on? What is better for later in the game? Thanks to whoever answers these questions!
 
if you dont have enough for spawners start with cactus then get use the $ from that for spawners
spawners are overall much better

However cactus farms are a good way to generate income early game but spawners are better which is why they are more expensive
 
Personally, I'd start with a cactus farm at a small scale, and use that to build a steady income so later on you can upgrade to spawners. Don't make the same mistake as me, I built a 20x20x200 Cactus Farm, and it doesn't make nearly as much money as I would've made from the chicken spawners I bought later on.
 
spawners are best! my is has a huge cactus farm(up to build height, and it goes pretty far down too) and a lot of chicken spawners, and grinding for like 20 minutes makes more then waiting an hour for a chest full of cactus

also profit shops (i got a 200 eggs for $40 on my is if u wanna try that)
 
Ok thanks everyone for the help! I posted this because on another server I play Skyblock on, spawners are actual garbage and the way to go is a large cactus farm. Just wanted to see if it was different on Invaded.

I actually spent all of my time in others profit shops, and made tons of money off of it. Just find 2 or 3 dependable people that have iron, cactus, or egg profit shops and use them for a while until you can afford spawners. I go to 2 profit shops; DontBeBad_ and SFvin
 
Yeah spawners are for sure the best way to go. I definitely recommend chickens :)
