Changing capitalization of mc ign

So I tried to change my ign from MusicDiscs to musicdiscs and it's showing up as taken, but can't you change capitalization of an ign that you already have?

this is the exact video i used to change mine. nothing bad happened to me so i'm assuming it's safe, but when I used it i temporarily changed my password

you do need to download something but i uninstalled it and moved on when I was done

its not possible anymore bcz they changed something with the api but u could try msging mojang and asking to change it. they prob won't respond for a while tho lmao
