Hello there, i know that blacklist appeals might take 1-2 weeks. However why does it take like 1-2 months? Even if there was like 500 appeals it would max take like a week to check them. I think they need to open applications and recruit new staff, or tell staff members to get their lazy butt to check blacklist appeals which is their job and they get paid for it. Like dude why pay them if they barely do their job?

People have waited over a year. :/ also, the mods do not get paid anything so its all volunteer work.
srsly just wait i had to wait 34d for my ban appeal and only admins+ can see your appeal and MYnameisnotharry got hired he does his job?
this thread actually pisses me off, they dont get paid, people wait way longer than 2 months, they alrdy have like 13 staff members, the server is dying and they r trying to keep it alive, the last thing is stfu
Blacklist appeals take a good while, not just "1-2 weeks" or even "1-2 months". When you stated that even if there were 500 appeals, it would take a week at most, this is entirely incorrect. When someone gets blacklisted, the mods first have to look at all the applications and decide if they are viable or not. Speaking as to how long these applications can be, this can take a good while. Then, they have to elevate the appeal to a higher staff, which there are limited amounts of, leading it to take a bit. These higher staffs have to go through the logs to find whatever they were looking for. They then have to compare this data with everything else. Henceforth, it takes way more than "like a week", as you stated. The moderators cannot do virtually anything of this nature by themselves and are doing a rather good job with how quickly some of these applications are going through. Also, the only staff that get paid are managers and above, and quite honestly the mods are doing an amazing job with how thorough they are. If you wanted half assed appeals that are barely skimmed over, I don't think that would go very well for you
That being said, I know where you are coming from. It is difficult to wait these things out. Making posts like these wont help you, and are actually more likely to put your application at the bottom of the stack. Please be patient as the moderators look over your application and while the higher staff check your logs. Please do not make disrespectful posts like this for the reason of creating drama and to shit on moderators. If these mods didn't do the wonderful things they do, you would be attacked by cheaters all day and night. The mods are doing the best they can.

Im not saying that mods are not doing good job, actually they are very quick. Its the admin+ staff members, when a appeal gets Escalated they are like so slow to look at an application and decide if the player should be unblacklisted or not. Its like it takes months to check a SINGLE appeal.

The only reason it takes months to check a single appeal, as you say, is because they have so many things that they have to check to make sure you either did or did not cheat, try to ban evade, etc. Plus, there are a small amount of admin+ members, who still have to read and review the same amount of appeals, and have to go over them one by one. They also have other things to do in life than sit on their computer reading ban appeals all day long. It is going to take a while. But it is going to be thorough and they are trying their best to do what they do.
How have they waited over a year if the forums reset in november 2019 and there was an appeal purge in April 2020?
