Following both pstc (ak 7gtz) and mqgy, as well as Rikhard’s retirement earlier in the week, few things I wanna point out, which I mentioned roughly here
So going from this comment we know it was a communication issue most likely with management, which I also think plays into why Rikhard left, as well as whatever has happened has been a running issue for months now. With the main two examples of lack of communication (that us as players have seen) being the Survival reset from December 2025 as well as the current state of KitPVP and Skyblock.
For the reset it came directly after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, with the announcement catching many people off guard and also seemingly several of the staff, with staff in chat not being able to answer questions and at times stating they did not agree, as well as saying they would update us when they have more info, and I believe that they wouldn’t say that if they did have further information. On top of this it took over 12 hours for any information on any compensation to be mentioned. With the original forums announcement being announced at 8:18pm EST and the first mention of compensation being at 10:06am EST.
As for the lack of information of KitPVP and Skyblock I also fully believe any time any Moderator/Senior-Moderator has said they do not have any information and will update us when they do (example 1, example 2), especially since kit and SB were both whitelisted in October I believe that if they had known anything about these game mode’s they would have pushed to be able to give an update, especially since 7 was a KitPVP person and Magy a Skyblock person.
On the 11th of July I noticed Rikhard left both Invaded servers as well as I lacked any mutual friends with him, meaning he potentially unfriended staff members following leaving, as well as it took a couple days for this to be confirmed, with 7 saying this in chat as well as it taking several days for him to removed from the staff list on the forums, which is something I noticed only happens with retired staff, as with demoted staff they do on the spot as they most likely wish to remove them as fast as possible.
I mention it because I feel as though 7 and Magy’s demotion so soon afterwards is linked, I mentioned originally that only a few days after Rikhard leaving the server started feeling less looked after, more chat abuse and issues that seemed to go untouched, as well as there no longer being staff hosting any survival events, player reports going unanswered (from what I heard from friends) and people seemingly receiving no responses from moderation both in game and on forums. With 7 saying in the Donator’s discord he couldn't log on for a few days.
Which given the lack of moderation and events I think multiple staff were not on for several days and I think this was by choice, as well as potentially more than just Senior-Moderators.
But also on top of that, when staff did come back from whatever break they took, this was when 7 and Magy were demoted, the pair had been on during the day then that night was when they had their staff ranks removed and were demoted, we also know for sure they were demoted based on 7’s farewell post which specifically stated he was demoted, assuming the same goes for Magy.
My personal theory is that there was a build up of lack of communication over the span of many months, till it got to a point where the staff team grew tired and realised that any past effort to try fix communications (because I do not believe they would go straight to drastic measures without prior efforts), that Rikhard left due to the issues not being fixed and him leaving was what pushed the rest of the staff team to formulated a ‘strike’ of sorts, as a way to force management to listen, and I believe it was both Senior-Moderators and a good number of Moderators who partook in it due to the level of such little moderation and events there had been for the few days. I also believe management did not like this and demoted both 7 and Magy over this as they would have been the ones to potentially formulate and lead the others as they are the highest non-OP’d staff rank after Rikhard left. Why though I am not sure, maybe to make a point towards the remaining staff, or because they just did not like the path they took.
