Like a stupid person, I am I decided to start my second base in the middle of a forest. A 20k claim in the middle of a forest means a lot of anti team trees. After I cut down all the trees in my claim I noticed that the leaves have yet to despawn. Since this is an engineered survival server things may not be the same. Trying to keep this simple, do leaves despawn when the log is gone?

o i guess im wrong then. then again, i havent broken a single tree on survival : P
Ik i alr have that, just really annoying when you chop down like 50 trees and you have to break every single block
Leaves of non-player grown trees do not break on their own you must manually break them
they dont despawn they decay. They arent entities
