You're right we don't have proof but if you've seen twitter you'll see a lot of people who treat him like a god who can do no wrong because he did some crazy 2000 iq move that was staged. Entertaining but not my point.
This is true since the actual concept of stanning is recent, it's only a small part of the community, however it is a VERY VERY vocal part of the community which really is a shame how the Minecraft is now perceived as a stanning community.

No that is in fact NOT what happened. Dream made a comment on Drem's video calling him out. People obviously made videos about it and it spread like wildfire. Thus people attacked Drem.
I understand and wont pin all the responsibility on Dream. But I will say that he needs to understand that he has a big fanbase and he simply can't do the bullshit he does to people like Drem.

Yes but this is a bit different he didn't just put a big red arrow in front of some Minecraft egirl. He used Pewdiepie, made a few videos off of him and blew up with that.

You're attacking the youtuber using arguments that apply to a small part of the community...
That is only your perception because you're in communities that became like this, but there's an entire other part of the Minecraft community - and probably even more - that are completely unaffected by this.

He literally just commented on a video lmao, he is a human, you can't expect him to change his entire life because he has 15 million subscribers.
I agree that was stupid and immature, but that does not make him an awful person. I'm not saying he's not, I'm not saying he is either. With 15m subscribers, he can't just say "oh hey guys I cheated" just because a small part of the fanbase would be less pissed. We also still are not 100% sure he indeed cheated.
So, to recap, he did act very rashly however you can't hate him just because of that, and you definitely can't hate him because braindead people misinterpret his words and attack anyone or anything that's even remotely perceived as a threat to the youtuber they so much love.
Stans are a very small part of the community. They seem bigger than what they are because they're loud and because of other people being misunderstood for stans, but they're a really small part of the community, and his reaction on twitter has made a far smaller impact than what him saying "I cheated" and the thousands of YouTube videos and tweets talking about this would've done.
The stream has given the opportunity to many other youtubers or streamers to know each other and be introduced to a bigger audience, and it gave a storyline and a character to everyone. Not sure who you're trying to attack here since he doesn't even make videos on the SMP, unlike other people.
First of all, even just taking from reddit, it takes some skill to pull them off, and in a situation of intense stress no less. Second, he does have knowledge of the game as well, and came up with quite a few tricks himself. You can't attack him on this.
He has clearly stated he is OK with stans, but he is very much not ok with the part of the stans (the toxic ones) that are responsible for all the bad stuff that's given the stans their reputation. What else can he do? What do you want him to do? Braindead people won't be stopped by a YouTube video telling them that people who do what they do are bad people, they probably won't even understand that a such video is about them.
I really don't think you're using your brain since there are some glaring logic errors in your statement, including your "desperate times call for desperate measures". First of all, it is incorrect to use it in your case, since this is not a desperate time and you've literally just lowered yourself to the level of that toxic part of the community. Furthermore, would an enormous stain in Dream's reputation, alongside the end of any chance of going for a speedrun WR or PB not be considered as a desperate time for Dream? Also you literally admit to be biased.
And other YouTubers follow trends or copy MrBeast. At least his videos actually had content.
I've proven most of the arguments you used to be out of Dream's control, backing my statements up with logic. He could've handled things better in an ideal situation, but it's really not easy to do and I really doubt you or me or at least 99% of this community could've handled it any better. Also, you're literally attacking his entire community for something that just a small part of the stans, which already are a small part of his community, do.

Although it is not a majority you also need to understand that the majority of people who stan and fanboy dream are children which is why the community is toxic.
If you know of any Minecraft communities that haven't been affected by this by all means tell me. Even 2b2t and all those toxic edgy servers have been affected to a certain extent by this problem.

Again I know that I am at the level of the toxic part of the stan community but as I said "fight fire with fire". I was going to make up an argument for this section. A bunch of the fanbases of the smaller YouTubers in Hermitcraft are really nice. Take JoeHills' community, or StressMonster, or Rendog, or FalseSymmetry. They're not without idiots of course, but they are really nice. JoeHills in particular has quite a few stans that are actually really nice and use their brains, and don't just go around hurtling death threats at people.
He simply commented pointing out that the run was very likely faked, he didn't insult the dude, and he still didn't have plans to cheat considering 1.16 and its RNG still weren't known.
He's not the reason for that, that's one of the most absurd things I've heard, and you've quoted only two events to demonstrate he's immature, one of which I wouldn't even count.

No it would not have. All the videos on YouTube simply go over the math and ultimately only conclude that it's "very likely" he could've cheated, or that there's no way to know for sure. Saying "I cheated" would've ended his speedrunning career and started a storm of YouTube videos and cancelling, as long as permanently staining his reputation without shade of doubt.
I don't think Techno's community's really suffering from that, and I think you're generalizing way too much here. The Dream SMP was made in good intent, if a few braindead people are being braindead that's not Dream's or anyone's fault.
So far we don't have proof that it's all staged. Dream has released full videos of manhunts and debunked in a very logic way any claim on that. Also, going by your logic, the entire HermitCraft server should be cancelled since 99.9% of their farms are SciCraft designs.

What is there to prove? You've said yourself that making a video won't stop braindead people, I don't think there's much else he can do to stop them. I'm not downplaying the amount of stans, but keep in mind that only a very small minority of stans are the actual troublemakers and toxic braindead people.
