In the modern Internet slang, putting periods at the end of a message (or post) has become unnecessary and redundant. It is useful for separating sentences, however it has lost its function and therefore has stopped being necessary, thus it is possible to conclude posts without a full stop. It does, however, look formal; therefore, it can be a tool to show the intended register of a post.

Actually, in the debate with @ItsYaBoiAlex14, we reached an agreement, which means this debate was really useful and one of the first actual debates on this website. So good things came out of this thread

The word “internet” shouldn’t be capitalized. It is not a being, or a legalized name.
