Hello everyone this is quite important
I’m making a post because the skyblock server
Is dead and its past it’s unofficial due reset date please suggest suggestions in the comments this thred will include

When is reset going to happen

Add new stuff in (skills/mining grinding farming)(robots)ect. But i would like to get other players opinions on what should be added to the new reset.
It’s not past its unofficial reset date (pretty sure) but even if it is, there is no set reset date, official or unofficial.
 
theres an official ''6 month mark'' its stated in the last reset announcement
No, that is considered a “typical” season. Never is it considered official or guaranteed, merely a point for the community which ends up being a month later.

I found the skyblock reset countdown
 
The season before the current one. Money was much harder to get and the economy wasnt as op. This season was kinda fun seeing just how much you could possibly get.
I agree it was fun to see how much you could possibly get, but to me, and a lot of players I knew, it got old really quick, the eco personally killed my motivation
 
They just need to add new features, and make getting money alot harder because last season blazes were incredibly overpowered. They need to add new features or skyblock is going to continue dying within the first week of the season. maybe add like new islands for ranks because im pretty sure those have been the same since the have been released. but overall, if grinding money was harder (spawners more expensive and less op) then it would add a grindy factor to the server making people want to play for longer. thats just my opinion on things
 
we have been asking to fix skyblock for so many seasons now but i dont think anything can be done to save it, skyblock will allways be a boring, grindy game, unless htey make some serious changes they arent gonna get players
 
The problem is, when you make money too hard to get, everyone gets demotivated. There needs to be more motivation and rewards and some sort of extra "stuff" for when you get bored of the basic gameplay. Not 100% sure what this "stuff" should be, but it should provide some sort of difference to the classic grind blocks and place them. There needs to be more content for the players who have already achieved so much. This last season, payouts were promised, which gave incentive to grind. Maybe there needs to be more things to grind to, like most of a specific mob killed, or most liked island, or most xp. And all content should be grindable right away. For example, having a few different sets of island challenges that focus on different skills, like farming challenges, mining challenges, and other challenges which are not in series like the current challenges. Or another suggestion would be making aspects of the game more technical so players need to think and calculate instead of just buying the spawner that looks good. Maybe making certain farms that that require planning and calculations better overall than just killing mobs. These are just some ideas.

maybe they should add achievements like they did for survival. stuff like kill __ amount of mobs, get __ exp levels, fish __ fish, farm __ wheat, place __ blocks, visit someone else’s island __ times, etc. that would give a tangible goal and there should be plenty of them so if you get tired of one you can just do another one. you’d just need to make sure the achievement’s “levels” don’t cap out too soon and that the rewards are good too (like chat reactions and decent amounts of money)
