its just a temp ban im not worried about it im just wondering why they are in the game if you cant use it for escape situations

If you are being killed and you enderpearl into a place that has pvp disabled, obviously thats unfair as there is no way the other person can kill you.

If you were to throw your pearl somewhere on the map, the player trying to kill you has a chance at chasing you and killing you, but if you were to throw it into a zone that pvp is disabled then they cannot kill you which isn't fair on that player.
