I see what you mean by "useless", and the fact there's a delay, but there is no negative outcome if it becomes added and it overall is somewhat helpful for streamers / youtubers.

+1 I can only see this as beneficial since I myself have been spammed with duel requests and it’s not a fun sight. Would be extremely useful to prevent chat flood on your screen and enjoy some momentary peace and quiet.
