Event ideas and improvements v2 (Credits to haybob for the idea <3)

Sumo:
- Tournament style. We are all placed in a different sumo map at the same time, so that everyone can go, and it is 20x faster.
- Boring to wait so long, make it a tournament style.

Brackets:
- (What was said for sumo)

Nodebuff tournament:
- Fan favorite practice mode.
- (What was said for sumo)

BuildUHC:
- (What was said for sumo)
- A fan favorite practice mode, with nodebuff coming in first place.

Waterdrop:
- Get rid of the ability to see players, I can sometimes not see where I am looking because someones big head or feet are in the way.
- FIX THE ANTICHEAT I'VE BEEN BANNED TOO MANY TIMES FROM DROPPING!

OITC (One In The Chamber)
- Stop spawning us with other people, they can spawn kill.
- Add spawn protection, kind of unfair if someone spawn kills us.

Race of Death:
- It's not a race of death, it's just a race. Either change the name, or add a lava wall that slowly goes forward from start to finish.
- Make it so that when you fall off, you're dead and out. Don't have it ruin KDR or a Killstreak...
- Remove the ability to see people's nametags, they can get in the way when doing the spiral ladders.
- Change the map every once in a while, some people make their own copies of the map and practice on it, and get incredibly good at it, Dasnerth being one of them.

No Hit-Delay:
- Another really fun mode for practice.
- (Same with sumo)

RedRover:
- Get rid of speed, messes us up, and it's incredibly hard to hit players.
- Get rid of the ability to hit players out of the middle, if they're out, and they get out, that's unfair to the people who couldn't. If you're out, you're out.

Other than that, that's really it. Please leave suggestions, changes, anything down below!

Ok as a professional event player I'm gonna give my input on some of these ideas.



Even though sumo sometimes takes a while I do think it should still be one match at a time. This would require a new map and a complete rework of how the sumo / brackets event is coded.


I'd love to see these modes added (even though I suck at most).


I disagree with the invisibility because usually the only reason a good waterdrop player dies is because they get blocked. I've been in games that lasted hundreds of rounds and only ended because I got in their way.

The spawn killing in OITC makes the game more fast paced and adding spawn protection would make it feel slow. Also it would be really annoying wasting an arrow on a player you didn't know just spawned or dying to them because you can't hurt them.

I don't think you need to add lava/dying as you should be able to practice the maps even if you suck. I do agree however that the maps should change as people have mastered the one we have.

I think speed should be kept in because it's not really an issue. Now for hitting people out of mid I think that if you are able to get out of mid you should be rewarded. However I think the guy in diamond should have his tool locked to the sword so they can't hit their friends out.

its actually fun to watch people 1v1. same for brackets
also just go to a practice server if you wanna play same for combo buhc etc.
 
Absolutely! Not!

Look man all is well with your other suggestions, but this one... you might have some opinion over this, but look at it this way: Yes, visibility makes it way harder to play waterdrop, however, that's the point. If players were invisible, you could just optifine zoom down every time and win every jump.
This would make the event last for 10 years! Wayy too long. They last long enough as it is.
but the people with good ping would actually win because they can see clearly, while everyone else can't. I don't see your point considering it's more unfair that way.
