I know it is really hard to get into events, but anytime he does an event (those $1,000 ones which I know are't easy to win), where does it occur (on invaded lands or a random ip server), and how do people get notified of it going on?

You get notified on discord by skeppy, and in that notification he will tell you to do a command like /joinqueue event-a or something like that.

Its not that hard to get into an event but the main problem is connection issues. A lot of people are able to connect to the actual event but eventually time out as there are way to many people in the lobby where they are. So I guess there is a little luck involved into getting in the events. Also, he usually does the events quite early in the morning (5-6 AM LA time) so you might have to wake up earlier just to get in unless you are in a different timezone.
