Everything wrong with this kit pvp map

Everything wrong with this kit pvp map

These are all fair points. That's on me for not looking at things from your perspective, and I apologize if I came off as rude or dismissive in my earlier messages.
Ok i accept ur apology
I still don't understand this. What is the difference between these situations? In both buildings & sewers, you either pearl to escape or don't pearl to escape. Why do you not want to be able to escape on buildings, but want to be able to escape in the sewers? (Genuine question - I think I'm missing something here so clarification would be nice haha)
Basically, imagine this scenario. You pick up ur s5 p4 str loadup and jump mid to pvp. The moment u jump u look behind u and theres 5 people in op loot aswell so u know u cant win. Only way is to run so u run but unlike other maps where u try to kite them by bowing away and then climbing mountains or someting all u do here is pearl on some random building and ur out.
For the sewers. Imagine ur in p1 s3 going to pvp and ur fighting someone and his teammates come but u accidently fall in a sewer( rip bozo), so what u do is try to run them out in the sewers and ur running and running and then one moment u just hit a deadend. U turn around and see 5 fat players ready to kill u. GG.
It's not the entire community. A lot of people actually like the map, as they've said in the in-game chat, in the discord, and on the forums, but you aren't going to see that as often because people are more inclined to talk about their complaints & criticisms as opposed to the things they like. This doesn't just apply here, either - in pretty much every situation both online and in real life, people are much more vocal about their negative feelings/opinions than they are their positive ones.
I've seen most dislike it due to said reasons. If the most said they like i apologise. But what I've seen only forum warriors like it

I believe he is trying to say that it is too easy to escape from buildings but too hard to escape from the sewers. I could be totally wrong however…

turn ur render distance down

and kinda sad that ur still addicted to invaded

but theres always flaws in the maps so idk why ur crying abt it, + they said that it might be changed but later in the season so this thread is pointless
you're so cringe LOL and you're saying such things so ironically

Ohh I think I get it now; so rather than wanting one or the other, it's more wanting a middle ground / balance? That makes sense and is definitely a reasonable request! Hopefully that'll be kept in mind by the build team when creating future maps.

Its freaking huge and is killing my frames.

Theres like a million pearl spaces to escape from people.

Lootdrops spawn on buildings which are bascially impossible to get too.

The sewer system has so many dead ends its impossible to escape if u fall in.

You can easily bowboost onto a highway and just bow people off

As a long time kit pvp player who has experienced the game mode in every way including being a clan member, solo player, top kill grinder, and whatever else you can come up with I felt like I should share my opinion on this matter. I chose the following points to address:

- Escaping multiple players with op loot with a single pearl
- Dead ends on sewers
- Map being huge and causing fps drops
- Overall opinion of the map

I have been really active on this map and I have fought a lot of people down at spawn including ¨good¨ and ¨bad¨ players there have been times where I have been chasing people and times when I have been chased. To this day I haven't found or seen anyone get out with a single pearl (Not including scenarios where I don't have pearls. Every map has spots like that including maps from 2018-2020 that were liked a lot by the community. It's my first time ever hearing complaints about this in my almost 5 years of playtime.)

I find it really hard to believe that there are spots on the map where you can use one pearl and get away from multiple people who are in op loadouts that include pearls which means they can follow you where ever you pearl with their own pearls.

In my humble opinion I'm happy that there are spots I can pearl and not be followed by players with no pearls.
A good example: You jump mid with a s5 p3 loadout with pearls and you start getting chased by 10 people with s3 p1 loadout. Most likely you won't be escaping them with bow boosting so you use a pearl to escape.

Dead ends on sewers. I mean at this point if you have to run away from people in the sewers it really won't make a difference if it's a dead end or not. It's a really tight space and you would most likely get caught if there are multiple people chasing you. Regardless just don't fight in sewers if you don't like the dead ends.

Before anyone says ¨people always run into sewers and I won't be able to kill anyone to get loot!!¨ I have had no problem killing people or getting loot and currently I'm terrible at the game so I doubt anyone reading this will have any trouble either.

The map is huge and it causes fps drops. I strongly agree with this point I occasionally get fps drops I don't really mind them but I understand that it can be really annoying to some players. Hopefully in the future something can be done about this.

Lastly my personal yet humble opinion about the map as a whole. It's not my favorite map but I like the theme and the design of the map. For looks it gets a solid 7/10.

As for PVP suitability 9/10

+ Many kiting spots, places to knock people off for a quick kill with fall damage in 1v1s, a lot of places to gank players if you're with a team, and a lot of flat surfaces which make PVP more fun.

- Hard to escape a group of players without pearls, random ¨obstacles¨ such as leaf blocks in random places that slow down bow boosting, a lot of the roads are really high off the ground and you can fall off really easily while bow boosting because the roads suddenly curve or end.
