The only way i have known to farm sand is using pistons, redstone and the pistons making one block of sand to become two etc. Its complelty automated, and produces a lot of sand. Which seemed to be almost like duping the block in skyblock to be honest. My friends and i are use to using automated redstone farms in our own private survival world.
So is there any way to farm sand other than farming another material to sell than by sand blocks.
I want to play only on my island, only selling via vendor no auctions. In better words solo selfsufficent. So im looking to great automated redstone farm or something similar to a cobbletone generator. So i can make glass and sandstone for making more space for cactus, sugar cane, egg and melon farms. And soon maybe a small tree farm that i would have to manually chop down.
