SO as many of you know the players of invaded have become frustrated with the current situation of what is happening. I see there is two main complaints. The first of these is bans / blacklists / mutes, and the other half is people complaining of lag. What I have been thinking is of two solutions to these problems, almost like a fresh start.
The first part of the fresh start would be fixing lag. Bring back k2. For the players that dont know what this is its basically two kit pvps that you can go between. I feel this could be implemented next kit pvp reset, which should be 2-3 months from now. I feel as if many players would want this and would enjoy being able to play lag, and queue free. The second half of this idea it too whitelist queues. This would be extremely helpful because there is like, 400 people in event-a queue at all times for no reason other then to get in skeppys event. It would be more benificial if you just couldn't join these queues and then when an event starts skeppy just alerts all servers.
The second part of the fresh start would have to be resetting punishments. Though this may cause a lot of havoc, it also opens many opportunities for players who were rightly banned, and also players who were falsely banned. Some of these players have done things that they will never get to be unbanned for, but they still regret what they did. Some players have also been blacklisted for a g e s and I think deserve a second chance. If they choose to break the rules again, punish them, but I think atleast give everyone a second chance. Then we have the players who were falsely banned and were either denied, or are still banned. Unbanning them would clear up many appeals and make staffs jobs easier too.
Though there may be some flaws with this plan, I think there will be many positve outcomes. In the long run i believe there will be more positive outcomes then bad ones.
