So far up to the point of posting this I have around 8 hours or so on the Soup Beta server. I will list off my own personal opinion on what should be improved upon and any type of little details that could definitely be fixed. I have around 3 years making Kit servers with player bases not as big as this server but enough to understand what improvements need to be made and not be made. I always look at the statistics and the technicalities of everything to see every advantage and disadvantage. I am solely making this post for the development of the Soup Beta server.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
K̲i̲t̲s̲ :
PvP Kit
↪ Iron armor seems like a good default choice for the kit especially with the sharpness 1 diamond sword. If there were anything to add onto this kit is that you could add permanent speed 1. Although that may seem way too much for a default kit in my own opinion fighting with speed 1 is much better than no speed whatsoever.
Potion Kit
↪ Somewhat balanced kit. I really don't know why they made it full iron besides the helmet which was made leather. Although potions (if landed properly) would give 1 extra heart than soup it also gives the players who use soup to get some extra hits on their back depending on the situation. Say like you're both trading hits. The one player who is using soup can just quickly drink the soup and continue hitting the back all the while the other play is still turned around potting to heal. The sharpness 2 iron sword is a good fit it does a little bit more damage than the default PvP Kit so that give you an advantage when trading. Overall i think improve the armor maybe give a diamond helmet if anything. There is only so much you can do with a potion kit to keep it well balanced.
Archer Kit
↪ This kit seems to be fairly balanced. It does exactly as the description of it says. The further you are the more damage you do. What I especially love is how they did not give this kit a punch bow unlike a good amount of other kit servers. Having access to a punch bow really makes it somewhat toxic to go against. Since they can use that as a way to kite away from a player while also giving a moderate amount of knockback. The armor I think is alright if anything give it half an armor bar more. The sword is obviously weaker since the kit implies that you should mainly be using the bow and arrow. Overall the kit is pretty balanced and just like the default Pvp Kit I would add speed 1.
Switcher Kit
↪ The main issue with this kit is how players camp the holes on the map to drop players down the hole to get free kills IF they land the snowball. It adds a somewhat toxic element to the game but it isn't as bad as it seems. You can survive a fall down the holes but you will survive with around 1-2 hearts. Now if you can react well enough you should be fine to heal up although even if he does have team mates down there. Although its right above a lava pit where he is putting you into I think the idea of this kit is well thought out. He can only switch people 16 times which is one stack of snowballs. The kit also provides a sharpness 1 iron sword so not much of a downgrade like some other kits and also has a leather helmet like the Potion Kit. I don't really think there is really much you can do to change this kit besides putting in a cool down between switches due to players just spamming right click and switching back and forth over and over.
Urgal Kit
↪ What makes this kit unique is that getting a kill gives you a burst of strength to kill any nearby enemies. You do a good bit of damage although any knowledgeable player would know based off of the armor they are wearing that it is Urgal Kit. So if the player using that kit has killed someone recently other players know not to be near the one using Urgal Kit. The kit is really well balanced and having to get a kill with it is harder than with the default PvP Kit so players would either have to typically cut into fights and clean up or win a duel based off of their skills. In my opinion this kit is really well balanced and I haven't seen any issues with it so far so props for the staff who set up this kit.
Sonic Kit
↪ This kit is one of the most used kits as of right now on Soup Beta. I use it the most and so do a very large amount of players as well. It has speed 2 which is a very big buff compared to other kits. When you also compare the armor stats of Sonic Kit to Default Kit there really isn't that much of a difference. It also has sharpness 1 diamond sword. In my personal opinion maybe make the armor a little less just so the play knows that they're sacrificing defense for the speed 2 buff to get a couple combos. I think you should either change the armor lower and change the sword to a sharpness 1 just like the older soup server that closed down a while ago. Anyways this kit is probably one of the best kits on the server right now and I do enjoy using it. It is nice to land some combos with speed 2 and just make a player fly. Add a little bit of less defense or a little less of damage to the kit and I think that'll be a well rounded kit.
Viking Kit
↪ The armor in this kit is nice especially how the helmet is made of gold. I like how if they take too many hits that helmet will be gone and reducing some of their armor to take more damage. Sadly the kit has only an iron axe as its weapon however it makes up for that with the very strong armor. I like the nice idea of giving a kit named "Viking" a battleaxe however I think personally it should have a stone sword for block hitting just to give the players another type of technical use for PvP. The kit is meant to be tank-like and its a good kit. Not too hard to deal with but gives starting players to learn how to use the soup at a slower pace than the rest. Very new player friendly and I support the creative idea of the kit. Balanced well and if I were to change anything give it a little more damage like .25 if possible.
Stomper Kit
↪ Now I know this is something staff are hearing about quite a bit already. The surge of complaints from this kit but I will express my own personal issues that I have seen with this kit. I will go a little in depth about it and really see a change of how the kit "stomps" other players. As of right now the Stomper kit has groups of players camped up on top of high ledges above the populated areas of the map. An example is right above spawn. Players are some how getting on top of the spawn with Stomper kit and jumping down to kill groups of players and the more players on even more of the kills. Not only that but I have also seen players use fisherman kit and/or switcher kit to get those Stomper kit users who just landed down there right back up. Now I don't know if going on top of spawn is allowed but it really sucks to have to immediately leave spawn just to lose your killstreak from someone right above you when you drop. Secondly there is a wooden hand to the left of spawn which under it is another populated area. Typically players like to do 1v1s there to settle disputes or for enjoyment. Although this is a kit server and there isn't a 1v1 or FPS warp to do any type of those things with a flat land scape that as of right now is the best that they have got. Now about the Stomper kit over there. I have seen 5 newer type players on top of the wooden hand all in Stomper kit. Watching players pass by waiting for their chance to get the jump on them. Especially when the player being stomped is focused on the fight he is in at the moment you wouldn't expect to have a Stomper drop down and take your health from full to 1 to 1/2 hearts. There also also cheaters that have been flying around with Stomper kit casually flying up then falling down killing players and essentially ruining the fun for all of the players. That is another matter but a good way to fix that is by making the Stomper kit a purchasable kit instead of getting it free off of the start. In terms of armor and damage I believe that they should have less armor so that if they are able to take so much health away from a play like an assassination then they shouldn't need much armor to begin with. Secondly their weapon could be reduced to a stone sword with sharpness 1 although the iron sword with sharpness 1 does well already. In my opinion you could base the kit like Lunar's Stomper kit where it doesn't involve camping on cliffs and high areas all it does is launch the player and slam the player down quickly causing an explosion which causes around 4-5 hearts of damage in a radius. That would be the ideal way to make Stomper kit in my opinion however having to develop that is a whole other story.
Fisherman Kit
↪ This kit is somewhat balanced. If I were to change anything I would change the boots to either gold or chainmail and give the fisherman tool a cooldown. Players like to camp cliffs with this and since whatever direction they are looks the other play is teleported forced to look in whatever direction the one tped them to was looking. Players can quickly look up and teleport the enemy next to a hole and knock them off while they're still trying to figure out which direction they are looking in. However them not being able to heal while keeping a player hooked is a nice balance since if they are being attacked while attempting to teleport the player they would have to switch off and heal. Also in team fights with the Fisherman kit you can keep an enemy trapped especially in that underground water area. It makes it hard for an enemy to escape although I suppose once a Fisherman has caught its bait it'll be hard to get released.
Kangaroo Kit
↪ There isn't really much PvP compatibility with this kit besides the movement ability. Using the ability with the kangaroo kit just gives you a higher jump and although that is nice the armor assigned to the kit isn't on even terms with the default PvP kit or better than. It is a paid kit and not all paid kits are meant to give overwhelming advantages however I think you could work a bit more with this kid and spice it up a little bit. I think I have only seen one player since playing this beta that has used that kit. Maybe add some better armor or a unique weapon ability. As long as it can relate to the general concept of Kangaroos i'm sure it'll be fine.
Snowman Kit
↪ Interesting idea for a kit. I think having a "Sacred Snow" tool that shoots snowballs at enemies and causes a debuff to them i believe is unique. This seems like a type of Halloween/Christmas type kit and its a nice spark of creativity. The armor is pretty good for the kit and its abilities and is given a sharpness 1 iron sword. However you use this kit whether trying to fight someone or run away is really well balanced and I support any more ideas that come up like this. If I were to change anything I would change the sword to sharpness 1 diamond just so the damage output is a little bit more.
Thor Kit
↪ A diamond sharpness 2 axe I think is a bit too much even without having a helmet while also having the ability to strike your enemies with lightning. If you make it a sharpness 1 diamond axe just so it is in between a diamond sword sharpness 1 and an iron sword sharpness 1 then I think it would be a fairly balanced kit. Overall the idea of it is somewhat well thought out. Maybe adding a throwing option for the "Hammer" would be a nice and unique idea for the kit since it is Thor who typically throws his weapon at his foes.
Viper Kit
↪ This kit is equipped with a sharpness 1 iron sword and an almost full iron set excluding the boots which are leather. This kit is pretty balanced since you are able to poison your enemies and getting that extra bit of damage to them while exchanging hits. Also the poison ticks can cause the enemies Knockback to be somewhat negative since it constantly ticks over and over during the fight. So it doesn't give really much of a chance for combos unless you timed it properly with the poison ticks. I generally like this kit however I wouldn't suggest it if you are a newer player and cannot exchange hits that well compared to others.
Ninja Kit
↪ This kit is equipped with the same items as Viper Kit however the ability is quite different. Hitting enemies from behind causes your ability to proc. The Ninja Kit ability is that when you strike and enemy from behind you instantly teleport in front of them catching them by surprise. Considering when a normal player would get hit in the back they would turn around to fight. This kit is especially tricky since if you attack an enemy from behind they would react to that and you'll get even more hits from teleporting in front of them. Very very unique idea to the creator of this kit. Well balanced and not much you can improve besides add speed 1.

Additions that could be added:
Seasonal Kits
↪ You could definitely add kits that can resemble days like Valentines Day or Christmas. I think with a little bit of ingenuity and some thought getting this kits as a seasonal thing could make the server worth playing longer for the players who would love to unlock all of the kits.
Leveling and Prestiging
↪ I know this is a lot to ask for but if this is any way possible to implement I urge you to do so. This could really motivate players to play more and grind more. Having a leveling system could allow players to have another thing to grind for and also reward them. You could make the leveling system somewhat long since prestiging in almost any game could mean a permanent advantage over newer players. I've thought of some prestige reward ideas so please take some time to look through them and give me some of your thoughts on it.
↪ Evolution Kit:
Having an evolution kit could add another type of grind to the game and also not as broken as you may think of it to be just from looking at the name of it. Having en evolutionary kit may seem overpowered but after a veryyyyyyyy long use of it. What i propose is that after prestiging you could allow players to use a prestige token to unlock this as one of the rewards. Now lets get into the basics of this. As an evolutionary kit you would obviously start at the bottom. Which is at Leather and wooden sword. Now I know that may seem difficult to get past but you could allow play time on the kit a way to level up as well if the player could not perform well with such a disadvantage in gear. Getting kills is how you would evolve the kit and I'm not thinking of 1 kill per for a level up I am thinking obviously a shorter grind in the beginning to allow players to get to an area to at least have chance against common kits. You could also make it so players could only use that kit every few hours or so. So if a player has made it to strong armor and a weapon and they can't pull off the ./refill to repair their gear they would be forced to go back to spawn resetting their kit. They would be stuck on the cooldown of that kit for however you decide to set it to. You could level up the kit through enchant levels too. Leather armor starting with helmet to protection 1 and then to the boots with protection 1. I really think this could be a MAJOR grind for players. I'm going to leave it off at here for the evolutionary kit since it isn't really a completed idea but a very nice concept.
↪ Killstreaks:
Adding the opportunity to get killstreaks power ups or items could make players get a sense of reward for their killstreaks rather than just a number. You could add some creative ideas such as web bombs or something simple as a speed boost for a few minutes. In the end I think this could be a very good addition to the server.
↪ Unlocking tools via prestige token:
You could add a vault or something that gives you access to add a tool once per kit for the duration of however long that you live. You could also add cooldowns to not allow players to over abuse their tools. I was thinking that you could get access to private black market shop menu that you could view once per Saturday or Sunday that allows you to purchase a tool permanently or for a week depending on how useful the tool is. It could be another tool from another kit or a completely new and never before seen tool before.
↪ Pets:
You could allow players to purchase pets as a little personalization with prestige tokens. I'm sure players would love to have a pig or something hanging around them that they could rename and have an animal party.
↪ Death/Kill effects
You could add these for purchase either with prestige tokens or the money provided ingame depending on how well each one looks. Please be creative with these no player wants something thats just a couple particle effects. Players like to see something creative and appealing to the eye.
↪ Tags via purchase with prestige tokens:
I'm sure players would appreciate to unlock tags that are otherwise purchased from the official store. However having them grind for a cosmetic gives them motivation. One prestige token shouldn't be enough for one of these in my own opinion it is however you value them that you should make the price be of them via prestige tokens
(More ideas to come for Prestige options)
Leaderboard System:
↪ Adding a leaderboard for most deaths or for highest killstreak etc. would give people more of grind towards something even if it is just them killing themselves '_>'
FPS warp/PW
↪ Adding an FPS warp would really benefit the players on the server if they would like to do 1v1s or generally play on the Soup Beta server when their PC isn't up to par with the games standards for compatibility. Also, I would prefer to not have personal warps to be added. My reason for this is very simple. Players could be on the server and if there were an abundance of personal warps then the few players that know eachother could easily boost onto leaderboards or get money from killing eachother. Since there are no other players around to report this activity then it is very easy to get away with.
More active staff
↪ Just as the title of this says. I don't want to come off as hissy but I've only seen a few moderators come on and that is it. I'm sure staff have come on in vanish but there have been many times where there are players flying around etc. and no staff are anywhere to be seen. If you could find more staff dedicated to Soup Beta then that would be a very big benefit to the server.

Thoughts on the map:
↪ The map is a really good size and I think there could be some more flat areas since all of the slabs and blocks can mess with combat. Although I really love the aesthetics of it. If I were to change anything drastically important it would be the way to access the top of spawn. I have no idea how anyone gets up there and I'm not too interested about learning how to do it. I love how they added the ducks in the river very great idea I was laughing at that it was great. Also, the wooden hand on the left of spawn looks amazing. Kudos to the builders who made this map they deserve the praise it looks really great. Love the underground cave systems and the little lava pool area. The ramps that lead back to the top aren't like a straight stair case its long and wide one looking like its merged with the ground. Very smart builders who have a good amount of expertise. If there is any promotion from builder then I'd would ask you to give it to them cause that is by far the best map I have seen so far on the server. Anyways to top it off I think over all the map is appealing to the eyes. It is very open and allows a lot of players to spread apart and fight. Nice job.

Nice job.
