Basically spleef is just who’s pc survives the lag at the moment. And it’s annoying when everyone is the chat just spams “LAGGGG” either fix the event by not making the snow one hit or just get rid of it it’s so bad right now
 
No idea why this post was ignored xD. I feel like fully getting rid of spleef is too overkill, maybe there can be a cap to how many players can play in it maybe like 50-100 since anything over 100 lags everyone for the first 10 seconds. Because whenever 100+ players spawn in the same exact block of course it'll lag the whole server out. Maybe you can randomize player's spawn area or instead of counting down from 3 or 5 start from 15 or 10 to wait for all the lag to stop and for people to spread out.

Yeah random spawn and a play cap would probably help a lot

my PC has an instant aneurysm whenever i join spleef events. pretty much you have to have a beast computer or you'll lose

A second layer would be the best fix because anyone who falls in the lag storm won’t die because the second layer is in place
 
well don't join spleef if your computer can't handle it. It's kinda your problem for the lag from joining spleef. What else do you really expect 100+ players with shovels that break the snow in one hit

so how is something that's gonna happen regardless and is preventable by changing the event format our problem

Lol I was more saying remove for clickbait but anyways I wanna submit to the player council but I just gotta decide what I’m gonna suggest
