Gold Farming

So playing in the new season, with claims and what looks like respawning mobs in the nether, I decided it would be great to make a gold farm. I was curious if epearling into the nether top was allowed, because it would obviously make building a heck of a lot easier. I asked in chat and got mixed results, so forum peoples, please tell me if it's allowed or not. (Yes ik the rules say no going out of bounds, but the top of the nether is considered it's own thing for most people, so I figured I would check.)

Honestly don't know and I would like an answer from a staff member. I found an exploit to get on top of nether without ender pearl glitching, I reported the bug but my report has not been handled. I believe past seasons had build disabled in the nether top to prevent people using it, but this season if you DO get up there you can build all you want. I don't think it is worth making a gold farm anyway, because natural mobs don't really spawn like in single player because of all the people in the server with their spawners and what not. @kvids Can we get a definite answer?

Last season I was able to bridge up there.

I mean, It's still a nice mood in the nether, and its flat and open, so good for building also.

I'm going to say it's allowed for three reasons, although staff can correct me if I am wrong:

1) You don't gain any unfair advantage from building above the nether.
2) Block glitching etc is allowed, so you can get on top of the nether legally.
3) I've been messing about on top of the nether before with 2 staff members there so I'm sure if it's not allowed they would have said something then.

It was enabled all last season as I used it all season to travel quickly around the overworld, I can't speak for seasons prior to that though.
