Well. I guess this is it. After about 4 years playing on this server, 4 years of quitting and coming back, 4 years of making so many amazing memories with amazing people (and sometimes some weird memories), it is officially time for me to say goodbye. On this server, I learnt how to build, how to speak english better, it was the first minecraft server I had ever joined and I don't regret it one bit. Originally, I wasn't interested in minecraft, but my half-brother convinced me to play skyblock with him and the first server we found was invadedlands (thanks captain obvious). So i actually started on skyblock, then I made a friend there who convinced me after 6 months to join survival and looking back, I kinda regret not joining it sooner. While skyblock was fun, it was really restrictive since you could only build on your island, while on survival, you can build anywhere, claim (almost) anywhere, get (almost) anything you want from the shop or the auction house, you can fly around, you can get player skulls (which I particularly liked, hence why I had a 500 player skulls collection in like season 5 or 6), etc. I made so many friends on this server (some of whom I still speak with regularly) and I was addicted to playing minecraft (which was kinda problematic for my studies lmao).
I have played on many survival servers since joining invadedlands, but never have I found a single one that could equal invadedlands. This server holds some of my favorite memories and I will forever cherish those 4 years I have spent here.
I want to give a shoutout to some of the players that made this experience of playing the best I could have ever imagined :
