Has any staff actually played kitpvp?

Has any staff actually played kitpvp?

I always get targeted by this n0combat guy. Whenever I see him on I just don't play lol. He also has a crap ton of friends so I can't take him

What if some staff (and maybe even some ranks) had access to a nicking feature similar to hypixel? I have seen the disguise feature and it essentially does what nicking does on hypixel. Idk what staff has access to it, but maybe more should be allowed to disguise/nick themselves so they can play the server without getting targeted. That way they wouldn't need to get on an alt every time. It could also be an incentive for people to get overlord or something if they could disguise themselves. Idk.

When I say nick, I don't mean what they have with /nick {name}, I am referring more to like disguising rank, name & skin or something like that.

I agree that staff should have /disguise as it's impossible to jump down and not get targeted, However giving /disguise even if it's just to Immortals would be way to op.

It would be nice for maybe the top 3 ranks to have it, so if they get permed they still have a chance to PvP without getting on an alt

I know I would have liked it when 3 people permed me and I got targeted instantly when I dropdown

I personally haven't seen too many staff actually be like somewhat competitive kitpvp players. If you've ever gotten killed with good stuff, it's obvious you get angry. Now ik what you're gonna say: that's just because your bad. Now, I'm quite good at pvp, but not at rodding and not for long-term pvping, which is an awful combo as rods are really annoying and people bow boost all the time. Obviously, when you get killed and then some kid even goes as far to say "oh gg" or something even worse, it really pisses you off. At that point you have about 4 options:
  1. Ignore it
  2. Respond to it kinda toxicly but just not enough toxic to get punished
  3. Try to kill him back (usually only works if it's a prot 1 guy which you can't even check if it's prot 1)
  4. Be as toxic as possible and most likely end up getting muted
Now, back to the staff part. I personally haven't seen a single staff member actually go down to PvP. However, trainees. mods, smods and admins have a good reason, as they'll end up being targeted by protection 4 people who have other OP stuff. The only time I've seen someone
actually try out PvP was Skeppy. Here's his video:

First of all, I don't think he was taking this anywhere seriously, but at the end he still managed to get really pissed off.



This just shows the fact that kitpvp makes you revengeful on the players that killed you. And this comes from times when I'm revengeful too. For example, when the player Bbh_is_amazing made his thread that he was "quitting", tbh I felt happy cuz I didn't have to deal with him killing me every time I went in the PvP arena and he was on. It's not even limited to just Bbh_is_amazing, if someone annoyed me over and over I would always be happy knowing he's now gone from the server. And tbh I would be happy if some guy got punished because he killed me, as it makes me feel better since he has to suffer something worse now.

You can literally hear the frustration on his voice at the end. If you actually enjoyed it and didn't feel his pain it's either:
  1. You're sadistic and enjoy watching people suffer
  2. You've never played kitpvp on his server.
Another example of how pvp can make you revengeful is in this clip made by one of the managers of IL:

He literally bans him over and over due to rage.

Now on the conclusion. I don't even think you'd ever be able to play a game somewhat competitively or in a certain way and not get really pissed off when someone would throw your entire progress out the window just like my mom did with my router when she saw my grades. And this isn't a problem limited to minecraft, it's a problem that's basically on all video games and even irl stuff. The part of it that makes it even more painful is that you choose solution 1 or 2 to the problem, you'd still stay angry for some time before you cool down (atleast for me), as you're basically limited on what you can do to combat him. and choosing the last option will have lasting consequences on your MC account.

I haven't seen a single staff member actually play kitpvp before seriously and not get mad. Heck, I haven't even seen anyone that actually plays kitpvp seriously become staff (in the recent times).

TL;DR: I'm quite mad cuz the staff don't know the pain we go thru and we end up getting muted for being toxic when the game makes us mad which in turn ends up making us even more mad.

tbh rather write this as it's less of a waste of my time than a staff app since more people will see it and not end up just in a giant pile of "Denied" with another 1000 threads, some even worse than mine

k mr random. you deserve every punishment you've ever had and kept complaining that staff were "false-banning" you. you don't even know when I joined cuz you're some newbie that's a bbh fanboy. I don't give a crap about skeppy and I'm just giving an example about the toxicity thing. And I'll kill you on any practice server so you can shut your mouth

In all Honesty, i dont think Being a great pvp legend is needed to be staff, although it would help massivly. In my opinion i think that being good at pvp is a good aspect of being staff, because you can see skills in other players,

Im not sure how to really word it, but you are more able to see the max reach of players, and legit flicks etc, if you werent really good at pvp i think youd imagine that everyone was cheating

I get its a horrible way of putting it, but its the best way i can explain it


Most staff right now dont really PVP unless they stream, purely because people will target the mods for their good gear (since mods and trainees get overlord perks) Plus they want to focus on doing their job rather than playing.

1. He has a right to mention you, and he also mentioned not to be toxic

3. If he likes his channel, he can watch his videos, I dont really see a problem with "skeppy fanboys". The slightest mention of a skeppy video or skeppys name instantly makes them a fanboy, the ACTUAL fanboys are the people spamming 14 and ping spoof into the chat and getting muted, then leaving.
4. Its a Kit server, You should be killing everyone anyway, I dont see the point in "perming" people

If you run at kitpvp server you should expect this to happen Jorb.
Also they are very annoying, you would agree if you played.
