The forums is mostly for discussion about server-related issues and topics. If you are looking to have a general conversation with someone you can either message people on the forums directly, talk in the IL discord server, or talk to people in-game.
 
Ok, thanks. I'm asking these questions to see what kind of community is on the forums compared to the server and so far, It's been relatively calm and nice.
