So I'm trying to make a Chicken profit shop but the problem is that hoppers are legit messing up on me. I know how hoppers work, etc. But like they won't work for me for some reason. So like I set up the chests and hoppers and everything is fine but I put the signs on the chests and they just stop working all the sudden so no eggs going through certain chests, etc. It's honestly frustrating. And I ask if there is a hopper limit or if people could help and I get no reply. So can anyone help because I'm about to throw my computer in the microwave. Thanks <3
 
there is a limit to how many hoppers you can place on an island, im pretty sure irs 250 (someone correct me if im wrong) but that’s not the issue. if you reach the hopper limit you wont be allowed to place anymore, it physically wont let you. make sure the hoppers are facing the right directions, chickens are over the hoppers, etc etc. double and triple check each tiny thing, that’s what i’m assuming went wrong, is just a tiny little detail.
last season, if your chicken stack was at 15k, it wouldnt lay eggs. i heard that that bug was patched, but it might not be. if your chickens are at 15k, try killing a few of them and see if that fixes it!!

i hate to say it but @BloodNoon is right, hoppers dont take from chest shops since otherwise your teammates could steal your items you are selling. try a different design without hoppers coming out of the chests, and if you can’t, i can help
