How Do I Join a Skeppy Event?

I've always wanted to participate in one of the events Skeppy hosts, I've tried doing /joinqueue event-a, but then it comes back saying the event is whitelisted. Then I see another Skeppy server called PvPLands.net, where they seem to be hosted now, but the event happening soonest says whitelisted. Is there some key to getting in or do you have to be whitelisted? If so, how?
Sorry, I just know very little about how the server and events work.
 
they always host on pvplands now, but not all the time, you have to keep an eye out for when he posts a money event in pvplands
he doesn't do events in invaded anymore

You have to sit in a queue for several hours to participate in an event which you have a low chance of winning and are likely only going to be there for 15 minutes, 30 minutes tops. Possibly 5 if you don’t have a shamrock and a rabbit’s foot.

Connect to PVPLands, open the Event GUI, and select the event server you want to play in (even if it is online). Wait, and when the day and time comes for the event, they will allow 1 person from Priority Queue, then one person from Normal Queue, then one person from priority, and that happens until the server is full. Buy a priority pass for any chance above 5% of playing in the event.

sat in queue for 12 hours straight and did nothing i wasnt even in top 200
 
Well thanks! I probably won't get in an event anytime soon, but it's worth a shot! Thanks for the help.
