How does invaded host multiple servers?

I was wondering how invadedlands hosts multiple servers such as, survival, kitpvp and skyblock. When you join the game it places you in the hub and you can select which server to join. At first I thought they were all hosted on multiple different servers and the NPC would simply redirect the player to the servers when the player selected it. Then I wondered how the server's playercount added up. In the servers tab of your Minecraft game, the top right corner of each server shows how many players are online. If a redirect was set up from the hub, how would the playercount still count every single person in all the servers combined?

Thanks. I'm asking because I own a server of my own and would love it if I could do something the same as invadedlands has it setup. If you don't understand what I am trying to say, I tried my best to explain it, if you need clarification I'll try to explain it to you again. Thanks.

Google it. You'll get better and more in detail answers than you'll get from here anyways. Even if someone here can answer it you'll still have to look it up to implement it yourself for your own server.
I tried before I posted the thread, but couldn't seem to find any good resources.

They own a server which can host multiple worlds. They pay a monthly amount to the host for there server. They add up each player count because each player profile and what rhwyre doing is loaded in the total ram and storage system so you can know how many players are on. I lnow theres 5 servers kitpvp skyblock build survival and the 5 hubs

If you would like to do something similar, install a plugin called Multiverse on your server. It allows you to create different worlds, which is what Invaded does. You can then create as many different "servers" as you need! You can also go into and edit the configuration of the plugin to tweak certain features to your liking. There are in-depth tutorials on how to do these things online <3

So basically i’m pretty sure that it’s a plug-in called like multiworld or multi server i just know it has multi in it but you can create multiple servers within one, that’s why when survival goes down kit or skyblock doesn’t, i really hope i got this right and don’t look dumb bc i actually got sleep

^ recommended for one gamemode server

InvadedLands has a dedicated server, which differs from minecraft hosting services; They rent a few server machines, and It allows you to host multiple servers on one machine. Each hubs and game servers are different ‘servers’ connected using bungeecoord. There are tutorials on YouTube, and you’d find your answer if you search up ‘Bungeecoord tutorials’ online.

theres at least 20 servers btw kitpvp, skyblock, hubs, survival, dev-hub, dev-kitpvp, dev-skyblock, dev-survival, soup, event, event-a, event-b, event-c, OITC, factions, kitpvpv2

I use to run a server and it is bungeecord to host multiple servers and you use bungeenpc plugin to add npcs to join other servers or Citizens like Hypixel uses. I am also sure the server runs off of Xenon Servers!

Invadedlands has multiple different servers. One of them has a version of Minecraft server (BungeeCord) that links all the servers together; it's the one you connect to when you log in. That server then knows that it needs to put you into the hub since it's the default world. From there, clicking on NPCs, that server receives a message that you want to connect to a certain server, and connects you to that one. This way there's a network of servers, all connected via BungeeCord.
