So a couple of weeks ago they removed payouts from top wins because of the EULA. I made a suggestion that you should be able to win stuff like ingame loot or special tags still but staff said
"Payouts in all forms are a violation of the EULA and once removed it cannot be replaced by in-game items, or other things."

But for some reason a person who gets #1 event wins gets the Master tag??? Now how is that not a violation of EULA? Like this is just honestly stupid and needs to be changed.

So a staff said being able to get a tag from top kills (aka champian tag which they removed because it violated EULA) isnt allowed but winning a tag from event wins is allowed.

1. You can buy gear and get loot from spending money
2. Use the gear to get top kills = winning champion tag which violates eula

1. There’s a cool down on each event of 24h when you host it

2. any player can join the event and have a chance at winning.

i certainly agree about them removing payouts is just weird but the tag is just messed up its literally a tag its not like its going to make you have an advantage....

Well tbf you could make the argument that it makes the mc account worth more so it violates the eula

you’re trying to imply that this is Invadeds fault? It’s not. It’s simply people just doing their own deals because if you don’t know this which you probably don’t invaded doesn’t allow any type of irl trading other than irl deals for in game ranks and rank ups and tags etc. not selling accounts and if mojang simply catches the irl traders that sell accounts just with cosmetics and cool things on it then the account gets locked simple

I'd just like to say I am far from a legal expert but I'd like to think I know more than most who have commented on the issue since the changes on Invaded and some of the posts I have seen are completely inaccurate.

Not sure if the second quote here was sarcastic or serious, however the whole point behind events and the Master tag is that having a rank or opening crates gives no advantage in those events and anyone can enter those events. A user given identical skill levels, time investment, and circumstances has the same chance of winning the tag as any other other who has not made these purchases.

It's not about the tag giving you an advantage, it's about ranks and crates giving you an advantage to obtain that tag.

The changes are not one that Invaded chose to implement, it's what is having to be done to become more EULA compliant. Mega even said there would be negative responses by some to the changes but it's unfortunately the price that is having to be paid.
