this is a great idea and would be extremely helpful in preventing a wide range of issues between players, please consider adding it to survival @TehNeon @Zelkam @Mega @Kobuto

The reason they wont add this is because some people are idiots and they will completely claim around another person's claim then claim ban that person so they are permanently trapped in their claim. The reason they have this in skyblock is because the islands are somewhat far away from each other and there is no claiming involved. If this was added, it would only lead to more serious issues and there would be no way to regulate this. As much as I would love to have more claim commands, the negative consequences of this implement would far outweigh the positive ones. At least we can grateful that they removed tree greifing.

true but i would rather have that happen than people harassing me INSIDE my claim 24/7. maybe make it so you cant claim and ban players around a 200 block radius or something

Not reading all of the replies, so someone may have mentioned it already, but a form of /kickfromclaim was already approved in the council. If you have a suggestion outside of kicking players from your claim and sending them to spawn, certainly feel free to suggest it to the council for a chance to have neon review it.
