I cant fly indefinitely in my own claim

It might just be me, but when I fly in my claim the fly timer starts. I've done /spawn and then /home, and it still uses up fly time. Is this just me or is there a reason behind the change?

Hey i had the same problem but just for like 5 hours. My problem was the server was laggy. The server restarted and everything worked again.
